 + 0 moreStarted out as a remodeling of our family room and flat screen TV installation. Removed wall paneling and replaced with wallboard, covered brick fireplace with wallboard and tile, installed new cabinets and bookcases on either side of fireplace, installed can lights and new ceiling fan and painted entire room. During project, became very comfortable with professional work and manner and asked for a quote for kitchen remodeling. During initial family room project got quotes from two other Angie's List recommendations. Found Kenneth Alan through word-of-mouth from friends and his quote was comparable with the other two candidates and his reputation was excellent. Hired firm to replace all kitchen cabinets and countertops, install new appliances, ceiling lighting, move doorway and painting. We were without a kitchen for four weeks but work was done quickly and professionally. Minor glitches on cabinets were corrected within days after being found. Very pleased with end products.
Description of Work: Hired as a general contractor to remodel family room and install flat screen TV. Was so pleased with the work, hired him for complete remodel of kitchen. Family room included new wall board, refitting and tiling around fireplace, new ceiling fan and can lighting, installation of wall cabinets and flat screen TV. Kitchen involved new cabinets, granite tops including an island, closed doorway and moved to a better location, new lighting, appliances and painting.
