HOME TOWN

Hometown was very good. They gave me the best price, and the quality of their work was excellent. They are very courteous, accommodating, and professional. If I need painting work in future, I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

The paint job on the house seems to be adequate, but they did a terrible job with the deck. They did not sand the wood and instead just slapped an uneven coat of stain on it and called it a day. They left us with all the empty paint cans and trash from the job. We called seven times over three weeks to try and speak to them about the deck work but they refused to even return our calls. Clearly they do not stand behind their work. We will never use them again.

I FOUND OUT AFTER THE JOB THAT A FEW OF THE GUYS HAD NEVER PAINTED BEFORE. THEY WANTED US TO PAY BEFORE THE JOB WAS FINISHED. HE SHOWED UP AT OUR DOOR AT 7 AM DEMANDING HIS MONEY AFTER THEY HAD FINISHED. WE HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS ALL ALONG THE WAY SO WE WANTED TO INSPECT THE JOB BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT. I HAVE PAINT PEELING OFF MY WALL IN CHUNKS, WE FOUND PLACES THAT THEY DIDN'T DO TWO COATS. WE HAD SHERWAN WILLIAMS COME OUT TO TELL US WHAT WAS WRONG AND SAID THAT THEY DIDN'T PRIME IT CORRECTLY AND THEY SHOULD HAVE SANDED THE SURFACE. WE WOULD LIKE OUR MONEY BACK FOR THIS JOB.
