We'd used G&D before when we wanted drywall work done in our bathroom. George Mendoza was the only contractor we called who showed up, gave a timely proposal and didn't act as if the job was so small it wasn't worth his time. He was very nice. Any major construction project is a stressful nightmare, but we're glad we hired George and recommend him to others all the time. Not everything goes perfectly during a large project, but George always went out of his way to make it right. He's personable, professional, much more honest than any other contractor we've worked with and he does really nice work. He is a little more expensive than some, but that's because he's a perfectionist and has a hard time doing things cheaply. I think he's perhaps physically incapable of doing what he considers a poor job. Price doesn't go over his estimates. I recommend that you are very specific with him about what you want, down to the details. We always are now, so we get what we ask for.
