It went real good. If they were going to be late they called or texted me to let me know. They always kept me informed.

He completed all his work in one day and was very accommodating to me because I have a child with a severe disability. Anything I didn't like he fixed right away. He also repaired minor imperfection in my walls. I plan on using him again this winter for two bedrooms that need to be painted. He is very, very good painter and safe to leave in your house.

The painter does a very good job and he is conscientious about his work. He also researches about his work. The stairs on my deck were new since they had been replaced. So he researched and told me that he couldn’t paint pressure-treated wood for at least 6 months. So he knew that he couldn’t do that. It’s sometimes hard to schedule an appointment because he is very busy and we did have some scheduling problem but he was very flexible about that. He used to come here and work until 8 o’clock at night to get the work done. I felt like there could have been a tiny bit of improvement in terms of his quality of work. It was hard to get a hold of him but I think he was having some problems with his cell phone. I would use his services in the future too.

There was only one Angie's list rating on this company, so I was a little wary in engaging Fox Valley to do the work. However, I have to say I'm glad I chose them. Rick (owner) was very responsive. Came out and gave a quote and references. His price was very competitive. He was able to start the work right away, whereas all others I received estimates from could not start for several weeks or months. Rick did engage the help of a couple other painters (not on payroll) that he's worked with before. At first I was a little concerned about that, but once I saw that he was ready/willing to take ownership for any mistakes, I felt better. Overall they did a very good job. I liked that he called me back and followed thru to see if I was satisfied. I pointed out a couple (very minor) items, of which he graciously corrected. Would definetly consider use this company again.

He was always on time to do the work. He finished the job early. He does very good work. He is very courteous. He cleaned up everything when he was done working.
