Phil contacted me and told me he would be here at 2, I asked if he could be earlier.  He was accommodating by coming at Noon.  They did an excellent job of removal , leveling and compacting driveway then applied 2 applications of 1 1/2 in asphalt driveway drains well to the street and they did a great job of clean-up.  Other than a great new driveway, you would have never known they were there

He came to the door to let me know that he was here.  They were clean.  They were conscientious.  They didn't get that glass tire all over.  They were late.

I received an estimate from Kaplan for sealcoating my driveway in August. I spoke to the gentlemen and expected to receive a call within a couple of days to setup service at my residence.  After a week I called another company to come perform the service.  Approximately a month later I received a voicemail message indicating Kaplan would be coming out to perform the sealcoating and that I should leave a check for the amount owed if I wasn't going to be home.  I called, spoke to a gentlemen and explained the service had already been completed.  About a month later I received another call with the same message from Kaplan.  I didn't return that second call.  On October 24th I received an invoice from Kaplan for Sealcoating.  I immediately called and left a voicemail for the women in the accounting department.  A couple of days went by and I called and left another message requesting a call back.  In total I left three message over a week's time.  No call back was received.  On November 11th I received a voicemail to return a call for a past due invoice.  I called and spoke to a woman and explained I never received the service.  She said she would make a "note" of it.  

It went good.

Phil was very responsive to phone calls.  He gave me a clear estimate and performed the work promptly.  The quality of the work was very good.  We were very pleased with the driveway.  The price turned out to be more than I expected but this was due to some unexpected additional prep work required because it was new construction. However, based on my experience with the other subcontractors, Phil stood out as one that I did not have to worry about at all. They got the job done without any problems.  I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

They were very thorough on the estimate. They were a little higher than other estimates I received.

Price was fair ($2.50 per square foot), and they were able to do it promptly. However the job was not to my satisfaction.

When I pay for a new driveway, I expected it to be flat and straight. There are multiple sunken areas (slight, but some hold rain water) and the edges were wavy (no way I could edge a straight line when grass grows in).

Phil came out when I emailed my concerns. Phil was very nice and put to rest my concerns about the sunken spots being a foundational problem. He said my driveway was the first of the year and the crew was probably brushing off the rust.... ya.

Phil said the most they could offer was 50% off a sealcoat due to their profit margins being so small, they couldn't afford to lose money on a job.

I do not appreciate the company allowing their workers to "brush off the rust" on my dime. Their margins may be thin, but I don't have a money tree to hire another company to give me a flat and straight driveway.

I felt their quality was good. Their responsive was not as great. There were multiple people involved since it was a shared driveway. There were four or five people doing the work and it was completed in a span of 2 days. Overall, I was pleased with the work.

Our driveway is used quite a bit during the week, so scheduled a Saturday visit. On 7th they arrived mid afternoon, but there was a risk of rain, so they called it off (cannot rain for at least 12 hrs I think). We re-scheduled for the following Saturday. They showed up at 8AM, cleaned the driveway, coated with a few buckets of sealer and did a great job doing it fast & cleanly. Before leaving they stuck 2 posts, rope & sign to avoid people walking / driving on the fresh sealer. $190 cost. Great value, well done.

This is the third year I have used them.  I am pleased with the job done each time time.  They are extending the life of a very old driveway.

The experience with PLS start to finish was great; Working with Joe the salesman to the final product with Gary and his awesome crew.  This crew worked so good together and had fun doing it.  The final product, a new driveway, looks just great.  Thanks PLS and I'll see you next year to sealcoat it!

Went well, very quick. Came on Thursday morning and removed the old asphalt and hauled it away in a little over 2 hours. Came back on Monday and laid the new asphalt. The quote included bringing in new gravel for the base but no new gravel was brought in. We contacted Rose Farm Paving about no new gravel and we agreed to a credit that will be used when they apply the first sealcoat; they were very easy to deal with. I would recommend Rose Farm Paving to friends and neighbors.

The whole process went very well.  The initial contact and estimate were pleasant.  Once we decided to have Rose Farm Paving do the job we entered the scheduling phase.  This was the only part of the job that I disliked.  I am the type of person with little patients when I'm paying to have a job done.  It took a couple of emails to get a date set but then everything went ahead pretty smoothly.  There were delays but that was entirely due to unusual weather (lots of rain).  All the workers from the company were friendly and polite while they were at my home working.  The job was done well and looks amazing.

Phil completed the job as promised in a timely and professional manner. The driveway looks great. He was prompt keeping appointments, courteous, and helpful. We would certainly use his firm again if the need arises. We highly recommend Rose Farm Paving.

On Friday, May 17, the crew showed up and began the tear-out process. They were friendly but professional and in about 2.5 hours had the old driveway and apron fully removed. They then began preparing the sight for the new asphalt. Precautions were taken to protect the crew from the surrounding traffic. Since it was a school/work day, the traffic was heavy and steady. There were no delays or hold-ups that I could see.
Many dump trucks came and went; some with debris from the driveway and some with new stone for the new driveway bed.
On Monday, May 20, the crew arrived to begin laying the fresh asphalt to make my new driveway. The process took about 2 hours and ended with the ceremonial pounding-in of the 2 stakes and tying the twine dotted with caution tape streamers across the end of the driveway. The crew also planted one of their advertising signs upon completion of the job.
The owner, Mr. Phil Cooper, Jr., came out to check the crew's work on Thursday, May 24, in a rain, and to be sure I was satisfied with the result. My wife and I could not have been more pleased.
