Mark was very helpful with figuring out what I needed and Dawn kept me updated on the order status and scheduling. Henry and Tevin were on time and did a great job on the installation and cleanup. Couldn't have been any better to deal with all around. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Everything works well and product quiet when in use. Only regret, the "electric eye" is placed so that at certain times of day sun shining on "eye" prohibits door from closing. Other than that it was very good.

Done as requested for a fair price. I compared to other Angie's List customers to get a general idea what it should cost and they charged what I expected.

It was a cold day in December and they arrived two hours after my call. The repairman worked in the coldfor nearly two hours to fix the door.

He did a good job and demonstrated that the door worked again before leaving. Very happy with this service.

Extremely well - the repairman was in and out within an hour.  I was actually surprised with the cost as it was an after-hours service.  I thought the price would have been more.  Their repairman was very respectful and courteous.
I will definitely use Overhead Door again for maintenance in the future.  I am very pleased with the service received.

Individual showed up on time and on the day scheduled. Work included removing all associated tracks, hardware, etc associated with the existing garage doors and replacing everything with new tracks, etc and insulated steel doors. Cleanup was excellent and all removed materials were hauled away.

Horrible. It doesn't work!! It worked when they left and now it doesn't. I cannot get in and out of my garage now! Rather than send someone right back out I get to wait until they have someone available.

I called them to get a service technician to look at my garage door that would sporadically stop opening only on occasion. They told me they could get someone out the same day from 2pm - 5pm since I was calling same day. I told them sure; unfortunately I didn't hear from them til 4:45 that they couldn't make it in time. We rescheduled and they were able to work my work schedule the next morning.
They sent out Bo and he was awesome. He diagnosed that tension was set too high and showed me for future reference of what to look for. Very personable and friendly tech. He tuned up all the garage opener and greased all the points. Gave me a few things to look for in the future. He was outstanding to say the least. Very happy with the service I provided.

Provided excellent consulation of options over the phone. Eventually choose the repair option over the purchase option. Was quick to respond and complete the work. Will definitely use them again.

Communication was very good from start to finish. They provided information about the door options so we could make an educated decision. The door was delayed coming in due to production. Dawn was very good about keeping us informed about the possible date it would come in. The technician that installed the door was prompt and professional. The agreed upton price never changed- no unexpected costs. We would highly recommend using this company.

Overall it was a good experience. The technician came out and evaluated my current garage door. Unfortunately, the cost of repairs nearly matched the price of a new door opener, so I decided to go with a new opener. I didn't realize that Overhead Door had their own brand, and it seems a bit lower quality than the door opener I had and the door opens VERY slow. Of course, it only works with their remotes, too. The technician was prompt, courteous and he even lubed up the garage door hinges for me to make the door run more quiet.

The garage door failed to open completely on 4/1/13, stopping about 15and quot; from fully opening. When we attempted to close the door, the gears sounded like they were grinding and stopped working. I contacted The Overhead Door Company and informed the receptionist that my garage door was not working and needed to be looked at. She told me someone could be at my house the next day 4/2/13, between 9 am and 12 noon. On 4/2/13, Scott from The Overhead Door Company telephoned to say he would arrive in 10 minutes -- arriving at 9:30. After investigating the problem, he determined that the gears were bad and that we needed a new gear and sprocket kit . . . which he projected would last for 10-12 years. He provided the option of installing a new door opener for about twice the money. We opted for a new gear box, which he installed. He also balanced the garage door and inspected the entire system. I had checked the website for the company prior to his arrival and noticed they had various discounts. Scott said the Angie's List discount was the best since it was for 10% off parts and labor. The garage door was functional (and quiet!) after about 35 min of work. Scott was very professional. We'll use this company again - - - hopefully, not soon!

Called Overhead Door at 8:30 am due to failure of garage door - cable end wore through, resulting in two hinges breaking, multiple guide rollers pulling out of track, and track bending, with door stuck part-way open. Technician was onsite by 10am, and door was repaired and back in working order by 11:30am. Both person on phone and technician were polite and professional, and repairs were completed quickly. Overall great experience.

It was a good experience. I called them because the spring on my garage door snapped. I called them and they came out that day. They installed the new spring and adjusted the chain tension. He did some lubrication on the chain and replaced the rollers. They were reasonable priced.

Our first experience with this company was very positive! First, their schedule was booked until the afternoon, but when Dawn heard about our situation, she rearranged their scheduling to accommodate us. We are very grateful! Second, while some contractors are understandably reluctant to discuss cost over the phone without having seen the problem, Dawn was able to give me some idea of what the cost might be from my description of the problem. While I wouldn't expect any contract to guarantee the cost of a repair they haven't had a chance to see yet, it was very helpful to get a rough idea of what our repair would probably cost. The worker arrived promptly, confirmed the cost, explained everything clearly, and completed the repair quickly. The cost was exactly what he and Dawn said it would be. We are very satisfied.

Mark came out to give me an estimate. He showed me samples of the types of doors available. Answered all my questions. Suggested I come to the showroom to see an actual door in operation which I did. Dawn handled the scheduling of the installation. Dan arrived promptly and did a fantastic job with the installation. He also reconnected my old garage door opener and serviced it so the opener does not make any noise. (My neighbor will appreciate that). He hauled off all the old material and left the garage clean. The door looks great and operates perfectly. I am extremely satisfied with their work. Everyone I dealt with was professional, friendly and polite. I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs garage door replacement or service.
