Jay'S Painting & Decorating

We had been looking for a painter locally & found Ray's flyer on our front door.
After having 2 other estimates done, we decided to go with Ray because of his positive attitude & willingness to listen to suggestions.
From the first meeting and throughout the project everything went smoothly. Ray & his foreman were here on time and the work was performed professionally and the results were more than we could have asked for.. All materials were cleaned up and left our condo spotless.
We couldn't be happier with the job and will highly recommend Jay's Quality Painting to our friends & family.

Jay Smith, the owner came to my house to give me an estimate on providing a factory painting finish on my wood modular staircase components. He was late for the appointment and quoted me a price of $900 to paint spray 8 items. I countered based on work hours and he conceded to reducing his price by $500 for labor. Because I was in a desperate situation to have the items for a carpenter to install, I allowed him to take the items with a $200 deposit check. I was promised delivery within 4 days. On the expected delivery day he called to inform me one more coat was needed and he would deliver items the following day and would call in morning to schedule a time. By mid afternoon I called Jay and he told me there was a family emergency but would be at my house in 2 days. I never heard from him, sent text messages and left voicemails. Finally I caught him on the phone 2 days later and he promised to be at my home the next day by 11:00. Jay never showed, will not return my call, nor my husbands. He cashed my deposit check and retains $800 worth of materials. I intend on filing a police report to recover the items.
