gutter cleaning, interior painters, wallpaper removal
+ 1 moreOne problem that was encountered was some old flock wallpaper that refused to come off the wall. Carl tried several products on the material and it still would not come off. The only way to get it off was to very slowly, one inch at a time and slowly scrape it so the wall behind would not be damaged. It took 3 men 2 full days to get the old paper off the walls, one inch at a time. I was expecting an extra charge since this extra work and time was not in the original agreement, however, there was no charge. The crew did NOT rush to make up for the lost work time. Carl did inform me that due to the wallpaper, I was asked if they could either work later to make up for the lost time on the wallpaper or have an extra day to complete the job. This crew always showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would finish. NO surprises. VERY DEPENDABLE. Quality work.
Description of Work: The first time I hired this service was for a small one room paint job. Carl gave me an estimate that was in the ball park of 2 other quotes. I was very impressed with his attention to detail of the room he was to paint. He was clean, he cleaned up and I didn't have to do one thing after he left. The second time I had him was to paint the outside of my house along with cleaning and painting the gutters. Again I was very impressed. His crew came when they said they would, did a great job and cleaned up to a spotless finish. There was a period of time when Carl had to leave his crew for a time. His crew carried on just like he was still around. I was very impressed. The next time I had Carl out was to paint the whole interior of my house, take down old wallpaper, patch holes, prime and paint. Again this crew was outstanding. Even when 2 joining walls had different colors of paint they did a wonderful job, no crooked lines the paint was even on the walls. All walls were HAND painted NOT spray painted. He used quality brand paint and cleaned up to a spotless finish. If you need to paint your house-call Carl.
