How did it go? Wow. I will attempt to sum up our experience by displaying verbatim, copy and paste, our last "conversation" with Robert, our tech person who is the only person we personally met of the two person duo that comprises this company as follows: ------ SMS Text ------ To: 16302902051 To: 18473054595 Sent: Feb 19, 2010 7:55 AM Subject: Robert and Steve, Robert and Steve, Unfortunately we have not heard any response from either of you after leaving messages to both regarding the troubles we are having with the very expensive and paid for home entertainment system installed by Robert at V2 Comp. Furthermore, our 400 disc changer that was not working properly, recommended by Robert, was taken by Robert on the promise of making an effort to repair and return during the basement entertainment system installation. This changer, while not working properly, can be repaired by another source and was not given to Robert as a gift. At minimum this expensive piece of equipment must be returned. If we do not hear back from either of you by 2/27/10, we will have no choice but to report to the police that the missing changer should be regarded as a theft. You also leave us no choice but to report our experience on reference resources such as Angies List. Tim Cullen Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T THE RESPONSE FROM ROBERT AT V2 COMP... ------ SMS Text ------ From: 16302902051 Sent: Feb 19, 2010 8:07 AM Subject: Are you calling me thef? Are you calling me thef? I will drop off your changer after this weekend. Call office number to schadule to fix any issues you may have. I personally don't feel comfortable working for someone who is calling me names. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T OUR RESPONSE BACK TO ROBERT..... ------ SMS Text ------ To: 16302902051 Sent: Feb 19, 2010 8:11 AM Subject: For 4 weeks we've left both you... For 4 weeks we've left both you and Steve messages regarding problems with our system and over 6 months regarding our desire to have our changer returned with absolutely no response. We obviously are not given any alternatives but to report the situation to an authority that can assist us. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T OUR FURTHER RESPONSE REGARDING THEIR PROFESSIONALISM... ------ SMS Text ------ To: 18473054595 To: 16302902051 Sent: Feb 19, 2010 8:25 AM Subject: Robert and Steve, Robert and Steve, It is unfortunate that as businessmen you don't recognize the value of continued service for your customers. As customers, we always felt we treated you as professionals, paying you on time, as requested. We provided you with every piece of equipment you felt necessary to do a good job. We were patient, to some extent, with your inability to schedule timely repairs to existing installations. And we provided you a return customer when we bid out our basement and exercise room addition adding an additional $8,000 to the original $20,000 installation. Your lack of response to our current needs suggest you never intended to respond to the current issues we are having. Please advise. Tim Cullen Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T The long and short of our experience with V2 Comp is that we never received any other contact with either Robert or Steve and our equipment was never returned from Robert as he suggested he would return in his text message. Our basement plasma today has no audio, we do not have a DVD connection any longer, we have never had the ability to use the VCR connection, our exterior speakers do not work properly and have never consistently worked properly. The original job was left a mess. The audio visual room located in basement was disorganized to where other sources who we had come in to bid our addition suggested was incomprehensible. Luckily, we were finally able to find and connect with V2 Comp during the addition construction to clean up and somewhat organize the mess they left in 2006. Furthermore, once we finally found Robert, we felt somewhat hijacked by his company to wire the basement addition. Robert was the only person who could make sense of the wires hanging all over the audio room, which thankfully, I will admit, seems a bit more organized. We are now looking for a reputable company to perform the repairs we need today. If given the option to use another resource from the onset, we would definitely research a reputable company.

I am very pleased with the work they did, little late with the due date but with in reasonable limit. What I really liked is the price and range of services, they pretty much did complete wiring for my new office as well as phone and network setup. They have different crew for electrical and low voltage work working together and planning for best possible outlet placement, which was impressive. Electrician showed up one day late but was able to finish most of the job in time for the low voltage guys. Phone service with VOIP had a couple hiccups, mainly because of slow respond time from VOIP Company but the owner of V2Comp did Good job helping me with account setup, keep it up guys.
