General Remodeling
WORKING WITH THEM WAS LIKE TRYING TO PULL TEETH FROM A BEAR. THEY CHALLENGED ALL OF OUR SUGGESTIONS EVEN THOUGH THE INSPECTOR APPROVED. THEY UNDER BID THE JOB AND TOLD US ONCE THEY GOT THE CONTRACT THAT THEY ALWAYS USE THE ESTIMATED CONTINGENCY FUNDS. THEY HAD RECEIVED MONEY FOR ITEMS NOT COMPLETED AND, WHEN QUESTIONED, THEY PACKED THEIR SUPPLIES AND SAID THEY WOULD RETURN ON MONDAY. THEY NEVER DID, EVEN AFTER THEY SIGNED A CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO GET ALL WORK COMPLETED BY A SPECIFIED TIME. THIS LEFT MY HUSBAND AND I IN A BAD PLACE; WITH NO BOILER IN OCTOBER, AND HAVING PAID FOR ITEMS WE DID NOT RECEIVE. ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES WITH A CONTRACTOR EITHER OF US HAS EVER HAD.
