They came on the weekend within three hours of the call, checked the unit and gave us an estimate and repaired it all within an hour. They were personable, professional, and clean.
Description of Work: repaired Large Projector TV Power supply.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Pecken's was asked to see if they could repair our television that was hit by lightning. They told us it would be $69.95 to come and pick it up and to see if parts could be ordered to fix it. They picked up our TV on 4/27/07. We must have made more than a dozen phone calls, gotten numerous excuses from "the part hasn't come in yet" to the "wrong part was sent", to "the part wasn't ordered". THEY NEVER CALLED US WITH AN UPDATE. We always had to contact them. Then on 8/1/07 we called and told them to return the TV to us. We were told that is was working, but you had to plug it in and unplug it again to have it work after they put in the microchip. When they returned the TV on 8/4/07 (three months later!), they said the TV wasn't working at all. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT REPUTABLE. The good news is there was not another charge, but we are not sure that they ever did try to repair our TV.

In response to this complaint: We provided a service call which includes pick-up and delivery and a full diagnosis of television in shop for $69.95. The tv had lightening damage/power surge which at times is not easy to repair and often not economical. We do state that length of time and cost to repair tv depends on the availability of the parts. Sometimes it is beyond our control whether the parts come in on time or not. We do our best to keep the customer informed of any delays in repairing the tv. We have been in business for over 30 years and have many, many repeat customers and have a great reputation for fixing all types of tv's and other electronics many that other won't even take the time to look at. We are very professional and courteous. We are members of NESDA and ESDA. We are sorry that the customer was not happy and the tv was not able to be repaired.
