They had trouble with the measurements so they had trouble making it fit. We had to send them back twice to get it done right. They finally got them and made it correctly but it took three tries so they could be installed.

James took my measurements over the phone and had an estimate to me by the end of the day. The price was significantly lower than several competitors I had contacted. James came to my house to double check the measurements and sent me a schematic drawing of the window guards.
We have eight basement windows, two of them are six feet long.
I asked James if they could make one of the six foot guards arch across the top to follow the brickwork, and I am very pleased with the result! The installation was quick and very well done.
The window guards are very strong and very well constructed. We feel our house is much safer with them.
We couldn't be happier with this experience. We plan to hire them for a gate in a few months.
I highly recommend Legna to anyone in the area.

I called Legna Iron Works and requested a quote for railings on new concrete stairs and landing. James returned my called and was prompt to our appointment. Gave me a quote on the spot. I ordered the railings a few days later and they were installed last week. They're very sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. I was very happy with the price. Would definitely use them again.

Two men came to the house and started work immediately. They were done quickly but expertly.

called legna. the estimator came out and gave me a price much better the others. so i visited their factory. neat place, every body working. i confirmed the order, even upgraded to better finish because as the railings are exposed to the weather. i got an estimated install date. when they did not show, i called. sorry the upgrade finish takes more time. the following week two men showed up without any notice. they were there to install the iron work. they spent a lot of time measuring, installed the railings and made sure the area around the holes were beveled so that water did not collect around the upright supports. good job overall. one problem: i've called and e-mailed multiple times but i can,t get them to send me a bill.

We requeted quotes for replacing rusted outside railings from four companies. Legna came out the next day after initial contact and we received the quote within two days. We had to make several calls to the other companies and then beg for a final quote. Some were twice as much as Legna. The railings were actually ready ahead of schedule. The crew was prompt and finished on time. This is a fantastic company to work with. Our association highly recommends them.

I called James (the estimator) from Legna Iron Works to tell him that our Board liked his estimate and wanted to
use his company for the job. He wasn't there so I left a msg. Waited a couple of days but there was no return
call so I called him again. He was there. He spoke very nice and assured me that he would get the job started
so I gave him the number to the maintenance man to coordinate. I called to let the maintenance guy know he
would be calling. However, James never called the maintenance man.. I then called back to speak to Tony the owner, but he was out. I left a msg. No return call. I called again the next day and was able to speak to Tony. I told him the problems that
I was experiencing getting the job done and that I was concerned about the fact that James didn't return calls or
call the maintenance guy. I wondered if he wanted the business, because if not I could start looking for other
companies because these were violations that needed to be corrected and we only had a certain time frame.
Tony assured me that they did, and that he would be talking to James that morning and that Tony would be sure
to get back with me with in the next couple of hours. It is now the next day and Tony hasn't called back at the time
of this review.
I would never recommend or try to use them.

We are so pleased with the quality of the work. The fence is beautiful. They were on time and let us know when they were coming back. The guys who did the work were professional and nice. Price was reasonable. The contact person regularly emailed with my husband and got back to him quickly when we had questions. I highly recommend Legna. No problems at all. We had put off the fence for years and now wish I'd just gone to these guys a long time ago.

There were NO PROBLEMS. It was like the magic elves came, and did the job when we weren't there (front porch) railings. They cleaned up all their mess, and left shiny, new white railings. PERFECT! One call to Legna to have someone came out to give an estimate that same week. He advised me to wait until the cement stars had been replaced before they should come back to install the railing. At that time, I called to schedule the installation. There was a slight delay in delivery, but the railing was completed without any problems -- and did conform to the city inspection as required.

Excellent. Legna came out the same day I called. Gave me a quote and left selection sheet and job description. Also there were time constraints which they had to meet. I signed the order the next day and they had the railings completed and installed in two weeks. Because of heavy rains they did the installation on a Saturday.

I called and they took my information and said that a person would be out on 11Sep09 to estimate the job. We didn't have to be home and he e-mailed me a quote that same day. I was able to go on their website and look at a variety of railings. We decided to go with legna and signed the quote picked out our railing design. The gentleman called me back and said that they would be out in about 2 weeks to install. They did a great job and they look great. Everything went as planned and timeline was right on schedule.

Called the company, spoke to a forman who told me someone would be out at noon, The represenitive was there ahead of time, looked the job over,( I wasn't sure if they could repair the railing) the represenitive gave me a price quote which I accepted. I rated them a B on this because i couldn't find another estimate. i was actually happy they were able to do it. They came back when they said they would, worked profficently and professionally. I am really happy.
