I was very satisfied with the service. To start off I called them on Saturday and was told that someone couldn't come out to the storage unit until Monday. I told them that really didn't work for my schedule due to my job, so Junk King states they will call me back and see what they can do. 5 min later they call and say they can do the job on Sunday morning at 9am which works perfectly for my schedule. The gentleman from JK shows up and is very professional, courteous , and friendly. I show him the various items that need to be taken including a piano and all of it was hauled away in less than 30 min which filled up about 1/4 of the truck.

They are very responsive. I have used them twice. The first time I used them was when I had a flood in my basement. There was a lot of stuff that had to be taken out including a couch that got ruined. They took everything apart. They will come into your own and haul stuff. They charge only by the truck load. They seem to be very fair to me. I really like the fact that they come into the house. I did not have to take things out. I have had the same crew both the times. They are very nice and very careful not to damage anything. I like them.

They come and load it themselves. They are very polite and are as clean as they can be for what they are doing. I would recommend them and am using them right now as we're in middle of moving.

When the 2 guys arrived I showed them where the debris was to be taken (in the Living Room.) One employee walked away and began giving himself a tour of the condo, unlocking the balcony door and going outside, going in the bathroom, bedroom, etc. while I was talking with the other employee. While removing the debris, this same employee was throwing things in piles (keep in mind I'm on the third floor and have someone below me.) They moved the debris with no equipment, throwing it in and out of the elevator. They used no garbage cans, carts, etc. The end result is that remnants of the debris (plastic, metal, carpeting) were left in a trail running from my condo into the elevator and all over the lobby of the building. The employee who gave himself a tour said to me "you've got quite a lot to clean up after we leave." I told him I expected them to clean it up. He told me they're not cleaning people and I should "talk to him (his partner)." The partner said "What do you expect us to do? Put the (smaller debris) in our pockets when we carry it?" He then told me I could pay them additional to clean it up. I told him I was going to call their office to complain. This is when the one who gave himself a tour told me if I did that they were going to dump all of my junk in the driveway of the building. I asked him for his name and he refused to give it to me. His partner also refused to give me his name saying the other guy had 3 kids and couldn't risk losing his job. I told him to take what they had loaded and leave. They charged me a $5.00 surcharge for gas, which was never mentioned by anyone (when I originally scheduled or when they arrived.) I called to complain and spoke to Adam who said he would call the driver and find out what happened and call me back. Adam never called me back. I called the next day and talked to Adam again who said he talked to the driver who said they never mentioned anything about saying they would dump my stuff in the street if I complained. I asked him what he was going to do about the situation. He said he would tell "Dave, the owner." I asked for Dave's last name. He said they don't give it out to "random people." I told him as a customer that just paid them $300, I don't think I'm a random person. He still refused to give it out. I told him I was beginning to understand where their employees got the idea not to give out their names. I asked him why he didn't tell me about the $5.00 surcharge. He said he didn't know why they don't tell people about it. I asked him what it was for. He said he didn't know. I asked him if they were a franchise or if they were owned by a parent company. He didn't know and had no idea there Junk King companies nationwide (just Google the name). I'm guessing that this company hires contract or day laborers (when I called initially Adam didn't even know who the second employee on the truck was.) They are unprofessional, refuse to give you information and unresponsive to complaints.

They drove their trunk over my lawn, and it sunk into the yard up to its hubcaps. They had to call two tow trucks to have it pulled out. They were very apologetic and offered to pay for having the yard repaired. I sent the bill like they asked me to, but they have not responded. I have talked to several employees because the owner, Dave Rapp, never seems to be available, but I have never heard anything back from them.

They were great and worked very quickly. Junk King got here right when they said they would. We had a little language barrier because they spoke Polish, so I couldn t understand them 100%. They were very clean. Their pricing was a bit high, but it was worth the money. I received a $10 discount off the price. I would recommend them.

I was quoted a price depending on the amount of the truck that was filled. Therefore, I was able to regulate how much I was charged. They arrived promptly and work diligently. They worked quickly and pleasantly. They were helpful and nothing was too much for them to handle.

ON THE PLUS SIDE, THE TWO MEN WHO CAME OUT TO DO THE WORK WERE POLITE, AND THEY WORKED HARD AND FAST. THEY GAVE ME A PRICE FOR THE WORK WHEN THEY SHOWED UP AND SAID THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO FINISH THE SAME DAY. ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE, THEIR SCHEDULING IS INCOMPETENT. FIRST, THEY SCHEDULED ME FOR ONE DAY BUT TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE COMING ON A DIFFERENT DATE. THEN, THE MEN WHO CAME TO DO THE WORK WERE TOLD THAT THEY WERE PICKING UP GARDEN REFUSE INSTEAD OF LOTS AND LOTS OF BRICK AND MORTAR, EVEN THOUGH I HAD EXPLAINED TO THE SCHEDULER EXACTLY WHAT I HAD AND WAS EVEN TOLD ABOUT THE EXTRA SURCHARGE FOR HAULING BRICKS. AND WHEN THEY HAD THE FIRST LOAD READY TO GO, THEIR SUPERVISOR TOLD THEM THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER JOB AND COME BACK TO FINISH MY PROJECT ON ANOTHER DAY. I TALKED TO THE SUPERVISOR, WHO TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT IT. IT'S HARD TO GIVE A RATING, BECAUSE I'D GIVE ALL A'S TO THE MEN WHO CAME TO DO THE WORK, AND ALL F'S TO THEIR MANAGEMENT.
