it went very well, the only thing that had happened after they had installed one of the handles was the wrong color from the outside, but they came back with the correct handle later on.

Worst Experience I've ever had with a Contractor. I was dealing with the owner, Len, and figured that I would get the best service possible. Order finalized on 5/12/12, and it was supposed to take 5 weeks to get all of the windows and doors. Did not get installed until 8 weeks later. Door came in the wrong finish on the hardware, incorrect side window and was under sized. The wall around the door had to be refinished. Damage inside trim on 4 windows and left dozens of nail holes on each window, which had to be refinished. Did not clean up in two rooms or driveway. Installed screens in 3 windows incorrectly, allowing bugs to get in. Very Poor Quality Workmanship.
It took Len 2 weeks to get out to review the problems. He offered me $40 for the poor clean up job. I had to call twice after that to get the correct door hardware installed. Then they still needed 2 pieces from the manufacturer, which I have yet to receive.
I always had to follow up to find out what was going on, and have finally given up. I went out and bought the correct finish for the remaining hardware and replaced it myself. At this time, the quality of the windows and doors seems to be fine. If I have a problem in the future, I'm not really sure where I will turn.

Excellent company to do business with. Len the owner is awesome and honest and wants to do the best for the customer. The product was quality, the installation went smoothly and they had to do some millwork around one of the windows which was beautiful. The clean up was immaculate. Would definately recommend this company!

Installation was projected for 4 to 6 weeks. Ten weeks later (11/3/11), the windows were installed. The 3 standard double hung windows were fine. However, all three custom windows were wrong. Alside Window Company contacted me and said new windows would be made and installed.
On 12/13, all three custom windows were installed. Two were fine, the third was still wrong.
On 1/6, the third custom window was installed.

From 11/3/11 until 1/20/12, when the Buy Right salesman came to pick up the balance due, I had not heard one word from him. He did not know that the one custom window had to be redone twice. He did not apologize for the disservice I received as a Buy Right customer. He could not see that there was a problem or that I was inconvenienced having the windows in and out that many times since I eventually ended up with the right windows. After an unpleasant discussion in which he stated none of this was his fault, he grudgingly agreed to give me a credit. When I gave him my Visa card (as agreed upon when I signed the contract), he told me he couldn't accept it -- I would have to go into the office siince the amount was over $2,000. After another unpleasant conversation, he grudgingly accepted my Visa information.

During this time frame, the Alside employees I came in contact with were polite, apologetic and seemingly embarrassed that their factory had turned out so many mistakes. The Buy Right salesman should take some lessons from them.

They were great! They did a good job and were polite. They cleaned up after themselves. They came back to fix things when I had minor issues, and it's been three years!

I spent $4,000. They put in 2 double hung windows. That is counted as 2 windows. I had 6 of those. They put in the patio window. They were very good. They kept their schedule. The one problem was that in my association, we have to have the crisscross windows instead of one big piece. They brought the one big piece and they said that it was what I had ordered. The contractor was different. Then they automatically set up about 4 weeks from that date to make the window. Then they came back and replaced it. There is one more thing that I have not told them about yet. There is a piece of edging done at the bottom of the window. I will take care of that. I am very happy with them. The price was good. They were on time. I will use them in the future.

The company representative, Chuck R. came to our house with samples and answers to our questions. He was very eager to help us and was very professional and easy-going and not at ALL pushy. This was the second time we have used this company. The installers were very careful and experienced. They made quick-work of installing the eleven windows ordered. The installers were friendly and professional as well and listened and responded to any of our concerns.

They were awesome! Showed up on time. I had one issue and they took care of it right away.
