This is an update to my earlier review. Due to the weather being a pain and delaying things(out of everyone's control) these guys called me at work and were like we are going to try and get this done in 1 day, i was like ok, when will ya be by, He was like today.....It was POURING rain all day. Got home, fence was done, area was cleaned up in my yard and the neighbors were more then happy with how their experience went with them. Would highly recommend, would call again if I needed fence work done again.

I contracted them in July 2017 and was told they were booked out until October. I wasn't in a hurry so that didn't matter. They came out in late October and set the posts in concrete. The next week they put the fence up. They did a nice job and the fence looks good.

Super, we had to wait couple months because they were so busy, but they are so much worth the wait, fence looks amazing. Put in the gate we wanted and worked with the style we wanted. Very high quality work.

Everyone I talked to and worked with were clean, professional, honest, informative, talked clear, explained everything asked about my questions and what I waited. My new fence is great. They even asked about my dogs needs to go out and made sure I was able to.

Everything went perfectly from beginning to end from the design phase to installation. Wayne even promised to complete the job within 2 days so our dogs could have a yard to run in and met his deadline earlier than we expected. Wayne was just a great person to communicate with and took the time to show how he was doing things and how things would look and made sure we were happy with the final product.

Very well. His estimate was very good and he seemed the most knowledgeable of them all. He had good ideas about matching the fences of our neighbors. He even came out (much later) and made some adjustments after the earth settled and made the gate hard to close (and didn't charge).

We got an estimate from several providers, but none were so detailed as Wayne's. Pam gave us multiple estimates because we had trouble making up our minds on where we wanted certain sections of fence (it was not just a square yard). She had to come to the house a couple of times before we finalized what we wanted. We specifically wanted a single driveway gate, which no other provider would agree to do. He also gave us addresses to see some of his work, although the gate we wanted would be a first of its kind. We paid 50% up front. The only problem we encountered was getting the job started..(we were anxious to move into our new house but could not do so until we had a fence in place).....he is so busy and the weather in November is unpredictable. But once the job started, he worked quickly and was on site every day...working, not just checking in periodically. He explained everything he was doing, and why. He took time to answer all our questions and understood that we wanted a secure yard for our animals to be in. The gate he constructed is a MASTERPIECE and so many people havfe commented on the beauty of the fence. The lattice top was constructed piece by piece, very labor intensive. But that's what we wanted and he delivered!. We had to call him after the winter, when the latch on the gate was getting a bit hard to raise and lower. He came out withing a week and on a cold and damp day, put additional hinges on and adjusted the post locations and would not leave until HE was satisfied with how the gate worked and would hold up...of course being that he had never made a gate of this size, he said he learned alot from it. He truly stands behind his work.

I got two estimates besides doing one myself. One was from a and quot;box storeand quot; and the other from Wayne's Fencing. The prices were not too different. Wayne did the estimate himself. I was impressed with his knowledge and experience as he explained in detail how the fence would be constructed and took plenty of time to answer all my questions.
He required 50% in advance (a normal requirement) and scheduled the job. Schedules depend on his work load as he does the work himself with a helper. He explained that schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and unexpected complications with jobs in process. Both happened, so he got started a few weeks later than planned.
Once Wayne started, everything went just as he had said. We consulted several times during the construction for end post and gate placement. One side of the fence is against an existing chain-link fence. That required work to be done from one side only, and was not any additional charge. The whole thing took about a week, including time for the concrete to set on the posts. He also said there would be some settling and he could come back and adjust gates if needed. He left extra pickets because a few can be expected to warp.
We are very happy with the quality and appearance of our new fence. Everything is perfectly straight and well built. We will be deciding on a stain finish after the wood has cured some.

I was told the job would start in 4 weeks maximum. 4 weeks later I called to see what was going wrong and they had told me there were permit issues and that they needed paper work from me, well they knew about this on a wed and I had called them on the following mon!! They never called me. They finally started work at 6 weeks and they hit my cable line twice and my telephone line once. Then they called and asked about the placement of the fence I called them back one hour later and they had alread put it whee I didn't want it. In the end they never took fault for anything, my fence looks nice but my yard is now smaller because of the placement of the fence.
Response from WAYNE'S FENCING
"Permitting process was delayed due to seeking city approval of a variance outside what is normally allowed. Although we requested permit in a timely manner, we have no control over the timeliness of it's issuance. Permit was issued without variance cost to customer. Utility was hit, because it was not accurately marked by locating companies. Utilities were outside the tolerance area (18") and we subsequently hit. This happens when the utilities are mis-marked as we can only go by the information provided. This is just as frustrating for excavators as it poses a danger to our employees. We are not allowed to put structures on the lines, and occasionally the line of fence has to be moved to accommodate the utilities. We do attempt to maximize every inch of a client's yard. We will endeavor to improve communications, and apologize for your dissatisfaction. We were not made aware of this complaint on Angie's List; we found it when using a search engine 4/18/2012."
