She is my horse vet and also takes care of my small animals here at home. She is an awesome vet, but took over for another vet so could not practice for a while. I think officially she was on her own in June. I have used her for years. I have a 40 year old horse that I have ridden since he was 4. He is getting close to dying and I have never had a horse this close to dying before. Usually I have the young horse injuries because I raise horse rejects. This is a geriatric horse and I have never dealt with one before. Sometimes I run into the house because I cannot handle it any more but the vet tells me it is okay and that I can come out. She leaves me meds for my horse at her house so that I can pick them up. She also gives me antibiotics for my pets and dogs so that I don't have to go every day. I can take pictures of my animals wounds so she can tell me if it is something that needs to be taken care of right away or if it can wait until tomorrow. Her bedside manner is wonderful and she is so refreshing. I have had some really rough, rude vets that I am afraid to call. She is a good friend as well. When I was in Florida and my horse fell on the ice she was the first person I called and she was there. I have done some dumb things trying to help my animals, but she does not make me feel stupid. You would want her as a vet, trust me. I had a hound dog that I needed to put down and she came out to put her down and help bury her. She is incredible.
