Merry Maids of Rockford, IL

I'm not sure on the price but it seemed a little high. There were two that I loved but a couple others were not good at all.

We started using them about six months ago and I think it has been fairly positive overall. It is a company and I have someone that I can speak to if I have an issue with an individual or something. Whatever issues we have to resolve, they will come out the same day and redo something. I think they are fairly reasonable. They don’t give me a specific time that they are coming but I can ask for a certain timeframe. They are fairly professional.

Poorly trained and supervised employees trying to clean more houses than is reasonable in a single day. My house is 2400 square feet and they only sent one woman. She was often there well past 4:30-5:00 pm on a Friday night which interfered with my family's schedule. Despite multiple complaint calls and promises to do better, every time they came to either clean or re-clean I found something like this: laminate floors that were still obviously dirty (a wet paper towel was black with dirt when swiped over a and quot;washedand quot; floor), furniture with obvious pet hair left on it, soap dishes with obvious soap left in them, patio doors and windows never cleaned of pet nose marks regardless of season or weather, orange ring around sink drains, and on and on. I had used this service for many years but the service deteriorated so much with no apparent improvement that I had to get rid of them.

GREAT. SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A WONDEFUL JOB. WE WILL BE USING THEM EVERY TWO WEEKS FROM NOW ON.

They had all the right equipment, they came in and worked hard and they got it done. They were good. They were expensive but they did a good job. We were really happy with them. In the future I would probably find someone who was a little more reasonable in cost.

They do a good job, and they are very consistent.

I thought they did a real good job. They usually send out two girls to come and clean. I don't have a real huge house. Occasionally they would send one and I used to feel sorry for that one girl. But they always did a good job. The fact that they were careful with my things really stands out about them. I was never worried about them dropping anything and they were always seemed to put things back where they were when they dusted. It looked like that they have not thrown things in a corner. They placed them back where they were and they took good care of them. I think they did a good job. I have carpeted and bare floor surfaces and I think they were able to deal with all the various different surfaces. Price wise I thought they were a bit high. As for responsiveness there were times when I had to rarely but occasionally I had to change my dates and they were always accommodating. They were professional. I will use them in the future if needed.

They come out weekly and I pay them weekly. I would recommend them.

They did an excellent job; they did an even better job than we expected. They gave us a quote and then we set up the time. They were very professional and prompt, and my mom was very happy with the cleaning job they did.

Some months were ok but most months we had several reasons to complain concerning quality of the cleaning and thoroughness of the promised cleaning. Every month there would be a different team so we had to re-instruct every time. Since there was no consistency, every month had a whole new set of concerns and unhappinesses. Often jobs were omitted like the top of the refrigerator. They are supposed to bring in a little step ladder so that they can clean the tops of tall things like bookcases but they don't bother. If something is difficult to clean they are way too likely to just move on and accept a shoddy job. They do not say anything.....they just give up. Have even had one gal ask if she had to wipe up the floor or is vacumming enough?

I live in a 1-bedroom, no dining room, apartment. First, the charge was outlandish considering the size of my apartment and what they actually did. They sent two people and they stayed a total of 1.5 hours. The inside of the stove and refrigerator were not touched. The outside of these appliances were touched but not cleaned. Their idea of dusting consisted of spraying water on a hanging mirror and leaving it with the water to dry in huge droplets. The other dusting was fine. Each person took a separate area so that they could be rated according to what they did in the cleaning. The one assigned to the dusting and bathroom did a horrible job--or no work-- on the bathroom. The one responsible for the kitchen did not even dust the toaster. She did not wash the counter-tops or did anything else I could see. I kept checking on these people and really thought they were working. To my surprise, they did little to nothing.

They did a fine job. I did feel like I kinda had to whatch what they were doing. They kept missing things. They also tracked mudd up the stairs the first time they came.

They were very expensive and they really didn't do what they said they were going to do. I had them for quite a while but it was a lot of money and they just were not doing the job. They were coming like twice a month and it just didn't work out. They charged per visit and the more times per month that I used them the cheaper the price was. They said that they would clean baseboards and other things and they never did. It was a quick mop up and brush. I clean house better than they did. They were pretty punctual. I used to have two ladies that were 1/5 the price and they were wonderful and they did it in 1/5 of the time. I got spoiled by them.
