Working with baney construction was an absolute nightmare. I had my house get hit with hail and called them to get a quote. From day one they new insurance was only covering the roof and 2 sides of my house. The roof went fine other than one corner of my house. They put new drip edge up and the drip edge is 2 inches away from the facia. So I took pictures and sent them to baney and there response was “that’s how the old drip edge was so that’s how we did it” the roof cost 15k and they couldn't even do it the right way. Then we agreed to have them do the siding on 2 sides of my house and after they had my money for 10 months I get a call saying they can no longer do it because insurance is only cover 2 sides. They new from day 1 that insurance was only covering 2 sides so I wasted 10 moths thinking they were going to do it also they $5,000 of my money to order material that they never even ordered for 10 months. If I can help anyone on here STAY AWAY FROM BANEY CONSTRUCTION!!!!

We worked with Tony Foti and Baney Construction to get our roof replaced after hail and wind damage occurred last year. We have a complex roof design and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The quality is fantastic. Tony was accessible and timely in all correspondence with us. He did an amazing job working with our insurance company. The crew replacing the roof was hard working, respectful and responsible in cleaning up after the work was done. We also had our gutters and downspouts replaced. We really appreciate the increased capacity and gutter guards, that we took as an upgrade. Again, we are very pleased with the quality and service of Tony and the work crew. We highly recommend Tony and Baney Construction if you are looking for roof and/or gutter work.

Quicker than expected. Worked with my schedule to complete work while I was available to watch. Contact with Jeff G was good, all concerns I had were handled with a "No problem" attitude.

Joe B. from Baney was easy to work with and explained everything thoroughly. He gave us different options to address our issues without the hard sell. Crew did a good job of completing on time, providing on the spot suggestions for gutter improvements, and cleaning up.

I sent requests for this work via Angie's List messaging and Baney replied very quickly. They sent someone to give an estimate the next day and I thought the price was reasonable. Most of the 7 other contractors I sent requests to never replied, and one that did would not take the job. Baney was very friendly and easy to deal with. They ordered the materials which were somewhat difficult to obtain, and they started the work within 2 weeks. A large crew of 8 or 9 came and erected a very impressive scaffold system because the house is quite high on that side. They tore off the old siding panels and trim boards and hauled them away. Then they installed the new panels, aluminum drip strips, and trim boards, followed by carefully caulking all the windows and other joints. They completed this big job in 1-1/2 days, and cleaned up very well. I would give them an A-plus rating if possible.

I could not be happier with my experience with Baney Construction. From the time I contacted them for an estimate to the time my roof was completely replaced was less than two weeks.
I originally contacted Baney Construction just for an estimate to replace my roof. I had no intention of contacting my insurance company for a replacement roof. I was informed by Baney that I had hail damage and I should contact my homeowners which I did. The person who informed me to contact my insurance company meet the claim person personally and made sure this was covered by my homeowners. That same day my insurance company contacted me and informed that my roof was being covered, a full replacement. From then it was less than 10 days and my roof was replaced in just one day. Full ripoff, repair and a new roof installed. The workers were on time and informed me what was being done before the work was started. The individual who gave me the estimate originally stopped by three times that day to make sure everything went as planned. I have no issues with the work it looks great and I would use them for other work. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.
I will now be contacting them to replace the siding which I planned on doing next year. Since the roof was covered by my insurance company I now will be able to replace the siding this year which makes me very happy.

Our wall was moved out on our garage when they replaced our sill plate creating a gap in our cement garage floor and garage door frame. The cement sidewalk was supposed to be done immediately after to protect the new sill plate, it took 6 weeks. Our salesman said the company who was contracted to do the work couldn't because of the cement shortage.  We asked three times what company he contacted, and he couldn't remember their name. The salesman had a friend do the cement work, he had a wheelbarrow, shovel and sacks of cement from Home Depot. We paid premium price for less then quality materials.
They replaced our soffit vents and added new ones. The new vents were to be painted before being put up but our salesman painted them after.  The new vents were bent on one end and did not fit securely to the soffit.  We wanted them redone but the General Manager said they were done correctly and had our salesman put in two additional screws to correct the bent vents.  In doing so, he bent the fins on the vents and now it's twice as bad as before.  We will have to replace them ourselves next spring, and because they are painted to the soffit we will have to pry them off.  Again we paid premium price.
They had to redo our soffit wood three times and our fascia wood was replaced when they did the gutters and failed to prime the wood after we told our salesman repeatedly that the fascia had to be primed BEFORE the gutters were put up.  The fascia had to be done twice.  They had to do the corner gutter three times and now there is a buildup of chalk in the corner gutter which could create the same problem we had before which caused the damage to our soffit and fascia wood in the first place.
Our salesman finished doing the ridge vent shingles two days after the roof was done because he said they ran out of shingles.  When he left he said the ridge vent was done, he wouldn't need the remaining shingles, we could keep them. After he left, we noticed a difference in the ridge vent and when we called him to inform him of the two different ridge vents being used, he was surprised.  I called the company and informed them I didn't want our salesman to replace the ridge vent, we wanted an experienced roofer to do the repair.  The General Manager overrode my objections and had the salesman do the repair.  We had no say in who works on our house.

I called the General Manager to tell him of our grievances after the soffit vents and the unprimed fascia.  Before we signed the contract with Baney, we asked our salesman several times if they subcontracted the work out and he assured us that all work was done by Baney employees.  I wanted to speak with the crew who did the fascia to find out where the lack of communication was.  The General Manager said that wouldn't happen, he was abrupt, rude, wouldn't let me speak, and kept interrupting me. When I asked him who his boss was, he refused to tell me.  We only found out later by accident that they subcontracted the gutters out.  After all the mistakes, they had a different company do the work and we aren't allowed to know what the instructions were.  No apologies from anyone at Baney, only disrespect from the General Manager.
Too many problems to go into great detail or it would take three pages.  Numerous phones calls unreturned including to the owner, work we will have to redo ourselves next spring.  It took 11 weeks from signing the contract to completion.  It was a nightmare we thought would never end.  We would NOT recommend Baney, they get an F from us.

We were able to contact the owner of Baney, Jeremiah, from his response to our review. He did remedy our remaining problems with the home repairs and did adjust our bill accordingly. I cannot in good conscience give them anything more than a C due to continuous problems, but Jeremiah did an excellent job of fixing the problems with putting up new soffits with vents, fixing the problems with the ridge vent, and having the gutter people back to fix leaking of gutters. Thank you Jeremiah for resolving these issues.

They were here when they stated. They were fast and thorough. There are some things that need to be touched up and finished, but all in all we are pleased so far. Joe, our sales guy has been on top of all the details. Thanks Joe!!

A representative came to my for inquiring about roofing damage as a result off a recent, severe hail storm.he offered to inspect and I'm glad he did. He answered all my questions and got me started on the process of filling an insurance claim. P.S. a quick drive around my neighbor hood revealed they mine wasn't the only home damaged

I was referred to Baney by a number of friends and family. All I have ever heard was how amazing they were to work with, and they lived up to their reputation. Jeff Gunn, the representative that I worked with, inspected my roof, told me what was damaged and instructed me how to file a claim. I made the phone call, and he did the rest. He met the adjuster to make sure everything was paid for, oversaw all the work, and stopped by to make sure I was satisfied at the end of every day. He's even checked on me a couple times since. I have heard horror stories about other companies like this, but I would recommend Baney to anyone and everyone. Our home looks entirely new, and we love it!

Baney Construction (Jeremiah Jessen)  worked with us from the beginning.  It was very convenient to have a point of contact and to have that person call you back with real answers.  We planned the day to start and it was finished that day.  Our insurance was not the easiest to work with but they were very understanding about that aspect.  The clean up was truly remarkable.  Baney Construction came by another time to double check for any nails in our yard.  I have referred them to several people and shared our story with them.  We have a military background and depend on good quality companies who are not just out for the almighty "dollar".  We felt very confident in their work and their word.

Baney sent a crew to repair the roof on my house, and that went pretty well, although they did a terrible job at cleaning up - I'm still finding nails all over my property. For the garage, the representative actually required a separate payment, with which he hired a substandard crew, who did a terrible job, and he pocketed the difference and disappeared. I contacted Baney, because the quote was on Baney letterhead, and the sales representative was employed by Baney, but the owner told me that it was not his problem, because he was never paid that money. I had no reason to believe that someone employed by Baney would be a liar and a thief, but the owner has told me that it is my responsibility to track this man down and take him to court, and that he would not help me in any way.
