Put in bad part and assured me it was ok, two weeks later it went out while driving!

This is one of the most honest and reputable Auto Repair shops . Have dealt with them for many years .

I get my car service there for over 20 years. They work on all my vehicles. If I find any problem with our vehicle, I take it to them. One of the vehicle I kept was maintained by them as far as oil changes, tire rotations or any other major problem. They do everything I like. They are easy to deal with, and they have done everything right for me. When I make an appointment with them, I just go up in late visit. They said okay, so I go up. They do things for me for not that long. But of course, if there is something that is going to require more work, They cannot get it done in a day.

We talked to Travis Kerwin at Hayes first over the phone to arrange the evaluation. He could not have been friendlier or more assuring. After the checkup, a few hours later, we got a call from Travis with a detailed evaluation of all systems. Those areas that showed excessive wear and would require replacement, soon or eventually, was mentioned on the call. An estimate of time was mentioned. In addition to this, a detailed report was faxed to us immediately, so we could use it when we went to the dealer for final talks. And finally, that same form was mailed to us. All billing was handled by credit card over the phone and we were provided receipt both on fax and in the mail. We felt comfortable after our call that we had a pretty good idea of the condition of the car. After the purchase, we brought the car closer to home and went to our long-time mechanic to have the necessary repairs taken care of. Our mechanic, who we've known and totally trust, confirmed all the findings of Hayes. In fact, the Hayes inspection was more detailed that the one our mechanic performed. Contrary to our first impression when we saw the Romeoville facility on a drive-by, we ended up being very satisfied with the work that Hayes performed and if we ever need service in that area again, we would not hesitate going there.

I have used this company several times for repair work on my vehicles and every time I am extremely pleased with the service. Not only are their prices fair but also their mechanics are honest. In my most recent experience I thought I might need new brakes and I told them that. Some auto repair shops would have taken that information and run with it, instead Hayes Service Center did a full inspection and found that I did not need new brakes in fact they told me I should have at least 5000 miles before they needed to be checked again unless I noticed a change. They did find the source of the noise I was hearing it was a bad tie rod, they quoted me a fair price went ahead with the repair after checking with me. There was no change between the quoted price and the actual price. Before starting to go to Hayes I had a bad experience with another repair shop that told me I needed work done that on a 2nd opinion/inspection was deemed entirely unnecessary. Because of that I really appreciate the honesty of the people at Hayes.
