They do a nice job.The group that services is very nice and they do a really good job.

I used this service regularly for over a year and was generally very satisfied. They arrived promptly (usually early), brought their own cleaning supplies, cleaned thoroughly, and were very up front with me when something got damaged. They were usually able to accommodate me if I needed a cleaning date changed, and it was possible to get service every 3 weeks, which was about the right interval for us. And they dusted!!
The owner came in person before our first cleaning to do an estimate for the house.

We wouldn't always get the same crew (perhaps because of 3-week scheduling) so some were less throrough than others.
I felt like I paid a high price for the cleaning.
I did object when they left evangelical literature at the house (I'm Jewish) and when I told the office what I thought about that, they said they wouldn't leave those for us anymore. Fair enough, but a little off-putting all the same.

The cleaning went fine BUT I will NOT USE this service ever again. The last 2 times I used them I came home to find my kitchen table adorned with their religious literature. For those of us whose faith is a VERY PRIVATE MATTER this is very presumptuous. Molly Maids do not know and do not care about the level of CONTEMPT, DISRESPECT AND INSULT they communicate with this. They clearly have no regard for anyone's faith practices besides their own. I pay them to clean my home. I DO NOT PAY THEM TO COME INTO MY HOME TO PREACH AND PROSTHYLITIZE !!!! If you are not comfortable with their religious agenda and their brand of right-wing radical christianism DO NOT HIRE MOLLY MAID !!!!!!

I stopped using them because their service is horrible.  Originally, they were very careful and detail oriented but for the period of time they became very rushed and very sloppy on the work they did.  They weren't very careful.  When I contacted the office, they were not just very responsive.  I felt like they just blew me off.  I am paying for a certain amount of service and the last time when I finally finished with them they have come in and within like 45 minutes 3 people have cleaned three bedroom 3 bathroom house and the lower level as well.  That was ridiculous.  I am not really happy.  The other thing that I didn't appreciate and it's a little funny was at Christmas time they would leave Christian books as a gift for the holiday, I'm a Christian so that is fine but if I wasn't a Christian I would have found it offensive.

I had no problem with the cleaning crew. They did a good job. There was always one lady on the crew who spoke English so we could communicate with her. We had them for almost 7 years. Then I got a call saying they were going to raise my cleaning from $83 to $99 which is almost a 20% increase. I tried to explain how outrageous that was, but they wouldn't budge. Their comment was that they were originally going to raise it to $115 so they were giving us a price break! At first I thought they were kidding!

The managers in that company are so rude and arrogant. They don't know anything about keeping customers happy, and don't seem particularly interested in keeping their long-term customers. That conversation seemed like they were doing me a favor continuing to clean my house. With that attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if they were out of business soon, because I don't think they know how to manage a business.

The cleaning wasn't so impressive that I'm willing to continue with them and put up with the management.

Molly Maids showed up as scheduled and cleaned the house thoroughly. Unfortunately, they broke the kitchen ceiling fan blade off. However, in the past when they broke something it was replaced in a reasonable period of time and to my satisfaction (e.g. table lamp and bleached bathroom tile replaced). Therefore, when the main office called to let me know of damage, I was certain that they would fix or replace the fan soon. When I returned home the house smelled great, the kitchen and bathrooms shined, and anything we left on the floor was folding and placed somewhere for me to put away.

I have used Molly Maid for 2 years.  Initially, they were very good though I had said that I wanted English speaking people to come so I
could communicate if needed.  Their employees do NOT speak English!  But I worked with it since they did good work.
Recently (the last 6 months), they rushed through the house and do not pay attention to the quality of their work.  My last date of service was 12/21.  There were 3 people who cleaned my 1600 sq foot main level and the lower level (about 600 square
feet) in an hour.  This includes 3 bathrooms!  Now, I do not have alot of wear and tear between cleaning & I barely use 2 of the
bathrooms.  But really...that is $40 hour per person!  I had complained afew times.  While they were polite, it never improved.  I am done with them!!!

I had Molly Maids of Norhwest Cook County cleaning my home for quite a while. The cleaning itself was OK. However, I began noticing things missing from my home; a black jacket of mine and a black vest of my husbands. Since we don't receive many guests, I had a suspicion of whom to look at, but no proof. JL, the ownewasr, had a particular mother and son cleeaning team I specifically told her I did not want in my home. My husband came home early one day and found them in our home cleaning. I called JL immediately and she refused to take my calls. I went to the office, and she kept me standing in their tiny office for almost an hour before she would see me. She was rude, arrogant and unconcerned.
When I went home, I found a jewelry box missing. I called the police and made a report. I called JL and faxed her the list of missing items. From then on, Jl refused to take my calls or speak with me.
Needless to say, DO NOT use this company. The owner is totally unethical and untrustworthy. STAY AWAY!

Everything was fine. I was satisfied with their work.

It was ok. They didn’t clean the way we wanted our home to be cleaned. Stuff we had on the list, wasn’t done.  For a house that was completely vacant it could have been cleaned a lot better.

I am very happy with them. They do a good job. Before they leave they ask me if everything is ok. They will look things over and if there is anything for them to do, they will do it. Last time they were at my house they had a lady come in the middle of the work to supervise and see how everything was going. They do that from time to time with their customers.

Their service is very consistent and they do a good job overall.

They’ve been fine to work with.  I find their services to be very adequate. My only complaint is that they changed the team that had been cleaning my home, but I’m working on that with them.

They cleaned on a regular basis and the quality was inconsistent and more often than not I had to have them return to do very basic things, such as reclean the floors and the kitchen table.  The manager was rude and annoyed when I informed him of the situation, which has been an ongoing problem.  They were consistently raising the prices, even though the quality of the work was poor and inconsistent.  After years of being a customer, they were not concerned about keeping me happy as a customer and seemed unconcerned about losing my business.  Hard to believe in this economy.  I will never have them back and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone else.

Used Molly Maid of Northwest Cook County for a few months. The cleaning was usually good to very good. A couple of weeks ago I noticed some clothing missing from a hamper. When I notified the company by email about this, including the possibility that it could have mistakenly been thrown away, I was told that they had spoken to the house cleaners.  The house cleaners said they never clean in a particular room that is used for storage.  I responded by email that it wasn't the room the clothing was in. Then I never heard back. I feel they did not take my concerns seriously.

It took several times to get my objectives accomplished - and to have at least one person who could communicate in English each time they come.

They are a cooperative organization.  The way our society is these days overall is good.  The current team that comes is A-

The first time they came, it appeared neither could speak English very well.  The second time, one girl who had been here before came with another one.  So these were not the same two people.  I had called the scheduling office and mentioned my concerns.  I hoped this was taken because the 2nd visit was excellent.  The third time, one of the girls who had been here the first time was back again.  They got here about 8:10 a.m. and were done before 10:00 a.m.  Again, there was a language problem.  I had asked to see what they were using on my hardwood floors, all except the kitchen and two bathrooms, have the hardwood floors.  I was shown a rectangular shaped "mop/duster"  that has a cover put over it.  I asked what they used on the cover for the hardwood floors, and they said nothing.  I don't think that is so by the shine the floors have taken on and it appears whatever is being used leaves streaks on the hardwood floors.  The problem is that all of the hardwood floors are waxed floors - they have no varnish or polyurethane finish - water is not to be used on them.  I told them to just dust them. I think that Molly Maid should identify the products they are using to their customer.  Afterall, hardwood floors are an expense in any home, especially the waxed version.  I don't expect "rocket scientists" to clean my house, however, I think asking for more care to do a good job is a reasonable request and to have someone to contact to communicate if English is not the workers first language. The first visit was more - $219? and the 2nd and 3rd were $139.00 each.  I am sure there is a problem with scheduling, however, the first time the girls were sitting in the driveway for quite awhile before I went out to see if they were coming in. In the past I have not used a service, but individuals which I think is probably better than a service.

The team of three Molly Maid cleaners arrived just after the scheduled time and we showed them around the house so they could ask questions and understand what we expected. We left to run errands and let them get to work uninterrupted. The original estimate for this was $300-$350 for about 3 to 3.5 hours of cleaning. It ended up taking them a little longer than this but the house was in pretty bad shape and after they finished it was immaculate. We were very happy with the work they did on this initial visit and are excited to begin the regular housecleaning schedule with them every other week.

Arrived on time and started work immediately. Worked quietly and constantly until they were done. Did an excellent job. Plan to have them come again for another cleaning early next year.

They seem pretty thorough. They bring all the right equipment in which is nice, we've had house cleaners who come in and use our equipment. Some of the things we ask them to do is dusting around the floor boards and other companies seem to skimp on that. They take it seriously and do a good job. They are pretty expensive.

Two workers arrived to clean my home. I received a call about 30 min prior to their arrival, as promised by the company. When they arrived I showed them around the house and they began work right away. They worked continuously for about 2 1/2 hours. It had been a while since my house had been cleaned well and I have a black dog that sheds a lot; the workers did a great job of getting all of the black hair up off the wood floors. If I hire them to return on a regular basis, the cost will be much less; about $90.00 for cleaning every 3 weeks.

We have a three-bedroom house. They do everything that they had listed when we first signed up. They even fold the laundry. Our experience with them has been pretty good.
