LEE JONES

Found Lee through craigslist. Originally hired him just to repair and remodel basement following flood. He started out doing fine, but after 2 days started asking me for more work so he could make more money "for his family." I contracted with him with the above tasks. He did everything half way. He would ask for money at the end of each day, and I ended up paying him completely for all tasks and they were not done. On the 7th work day he called out "sick." When he did not show up again the next day, I called and was told by his family he wasn't coming back. His wife called that night (Sunday) and swore up and down that they would come back and finish the work to my satisfaction. He came on Monday, did a little work and left. He called out again on Tuesday with some lame excuse. Showed up Wednesday, vandalized my house, and left, leaving behind a note that he was mad and accused me of taking his "ladder battery." Like I even know what that is! I actually think he either has problems with drugs or a mental disorder, because one day he'd be so genuine and real, and the next day he'd be angry and not want to do anything in the house. He had removed some of my shelves, and stripped the screw holes so the shelves were unusable! He left paint drippings all over my hardwood floors, he left empty pop bottles and chip bags all over my house! I ended up having to hire someone else to complete and fix the work I had fully paid Lee to do!
