Ductz of Chicago North Shore

Ducts was contracted through AYR for this project. Dryer vents were to be replaced in all units.  AFTER the installation of all NEW dryer vents, many were re-routed at additional cost to the community.  When Ductz was contacted with questions regarding paperwork and invoicing for work performed in individual units, they were not able to provide anything. When discussing this issue on the phone, answers were vague and guarded. When trying to confirm the phone conversation via email their answers changed completely.

Well worth the money! I recently moved into a house and then suffered severe allergic reactions. After a few doctor appointments, it was suggested to have the ducts cleaned. As a frequent user of Angie's List I chose DUCTZ of Chgo North Shore due to location and grades received. I was shocked to find there was tons of dog hair and fibers in my duct work. John and his crew did a wonderful job cleaning all of it out. They were polite, on time and cleaned up afterwords. Can't say enough good things about them!

This is a very friendly and customer oriented company. From the first phone call, they accommodated my schedule. When the guys were going to be late, they gave me a courtesy call. When they arrived, we had a discussion about the specifics of my homes, and they went right to work. They were done in the time frame they quoted, and explained what they had done when it was over. They were very clean, and removed a lot of dust and 'gunk' from the ducts in my home.

Ductz was very good. They were referred to me by my local heating company. They were very honest and precise. They were extremely professional. They were also sure not to damage anything.

Things went very well. We had no problems. They cleaned and treated the vents were very neat and professional.

Received quote by phone of $150-$200. Scheduled work for the same week. The service person was on time and did a comprehensive review of the duct system, identified the problem, and removed the ice plug. This was all the more impressive as it was well below 0 degrees F outside. I was a little disappointed that the price ended at $200, especially since after their inspection, there was no need to actually clean the duct of lint. But he did remove the ice and the dryer has been running through complete cycles without problem.

The technicians were very professional and took about 4 hours to clean the ducts. I have an 100 yr. old home and the previous owner had cats for 20 years. The amount of filth and cat hair that came out as amazing. They recommended the duct sanitizing because of what was coming out of the ducts, but at $189 for the treatment. Ouch! The process was pretty messy and requires clean up from you throughout the house.

The first appointment I had with this company, they did not show up. They gave me a discount for the next scheduled appointment to make up for their missed appointment. They did a good job, but they left dust everywhere and I had to clean it up myself.

I thought they were excellent. They immediately responded to my calls, kept in contact when I needed to set up a date, came promptly and did an excellent job. Took me around after the job to make sure everything was okay. I will definitely call them again.

Did the job asked to perform, but showed up 1/2 hour late. I had to call to track them down.

It was great, my ducts were really clean and the deodorizer smelled great. It was especially nice that my house seemed less dusty for a while after the cleaning.
