Guy did a beautiful job cleaning windows, but refused to accept the coupon from the Angies website

Work was done as i expected just fine, now problems. I like how Stan take care my gutter and window. I used this company for several years and work was always was perfect! I strongly recommend to use this company for gutters and window cleaning.

I'm new to Angie's list. We have used Crystal Clean for about the last 4 years. They are professional, prompt, communicate well, and do a very good job. I have tried others, but once I used Crystal Clean, I have not gone anywhere else.
They communicate well. They were scheduled for 8 am. The day before they called and another client wanted to have their windows cleaned earlier and asked if 11 am would be OK. We agreed to 11 am. They arrived promptly at 11 am. It was the owner and a helper. They use towels on the floor to ensure that any water dripping is caught. They have all the ladders needed to do the job. I have 18' ceilings in the family room with full height windows. The upper portion has Hunter Douglas battery operated remote control blinds. They put their ladder in place to allow me to replace the batteries at the top of the windows as the blinds were working slow. they will let you know when the screens need new mesh or hardware is missing.
When asked they also cleaned the entry chandelier and light fixtures on the family room fan (~13 feet high).
Overall, prompt, productive and courteous and a good final product of everything looking clean.
They were here for 3 hours and were productive.
Thet are not inexpensive.
You get what you pay for and they did an excellent job.

The overall experience started off great and ended horribly. I sent a request to them with the list of services above, they responded quickly through email and said my cost would be $109 and they suggested that I go to their website for a $20 off coupon bringing my total to $89.
2 days before my appointment they called me and asked me if we could move the appointment from the 3:30 pm time on Friday to Saturday because they were not going to be in the area. I typically would not mind but we were having company over and needed the work completed.
Friday rolls around and I get a call from Wally 2 hours early saying hes on the way to the house. I was originally told 3:30 and needed this time so I could be there to supervise the cleaning as this is the first time we used them. Now my wife had handle this even though she was working from home.
Wally cleaned the glass well. There were a few spots that my wife had to point out and he touched them up. The major problem was the inside sills of the window. He left 2/3's of each sill covered in dirt as well as the screen clips that hold the screens in. Mind you this is not a big job only 6 double hung windows with sills. When my wife asked him to please go back and touch up the sill he said they were clean and was very abrasive with her. She then showed him the dirt (which I have pictures of) and he very rudely swiped them fast and asked if that was good enough, making her feel very uncomfortable. After he made this rude and awkward situation she was nervous to show him the others so instead asked him double check them. He again said they were fine and ignored it.
He was finished with the job very quickly and just kept saying if i got home and wasn't happy that I could call them. Then he proceeded to tell me that the job was $30 more because he cleaned more that the 18 spots. In the original request we asked 16 spots and said which ones. Yes we had more areas but he did not look at the original request and ask what needed to be cleaned. We knew we didnt need a sliding door cleaned and a front do as they were newer and just cleaned by me. Then he was pressuring my wife to give her the money and as she was alone felt very worried and nervous. She called me and I tried to talk to him on the phone but he was extremely rude and there was not discussion, it was "you will be happy or call if you are not but the bill is $119 not $89". My wife cut him a check to get him out of the house and locked the door.
Overally the job done was poor and the fact that Wally the cleaning man made my wife uncomfortable, pressured and didn't clean a window properly has lead me to make sure that people are aware of their actions.

They are very pleasant and punctual. They are very friendly. They gave me some tips to rectify a couple of problems that I had with broken window seals. They are very professional.
