You can go to this hardware store as a female and receive respectful, excellent service. They carry everything; they are huge. Plenty of helpful and knowledgeable staff present. If you have something nobody else carries or can figure out -- try Nicholson.

My bathroom tub was leaking and I had a light switch stop working right around the same time in my house. I decided to replace these my self and decided to go to Nicholson Hardware. I was apprehensive about doing this plumbing on my own but thankfully the employees here are the most helpful crew you could ever meet. These guys are gurus! They not only knew the correct replacement stem for the tub but from the type of stem they could tell what neighborhood the house was from and when it was made! They also showed me the exact switch I needed as well. On each project they were able to verbally walk me through what to do. I've compared the parts sold here compared to the big box stores and they usually are the same price or lower and usually made in the USA. Forget the big box stores, save time and money at Nicholson's!

I would tell someone that they are very good. They pick up the lawnmower and bring it to the shop and fix it and they bring it back. It is nice that they pickup and deliver lawnmowers and snow blowers.
