+ -1 moreMike was contracted to do the rewiring for a new kitchen I was going to do. I signed a contract on Sept 7, 2007 and paid him a down payment of $925 for the work. I advised him that my general contractor would be contacting him for his city electrican's license number to request a permit for the kitchen remodel that due to other problems would not start until January, 2008. My contractor contacted me Dec 12, 2007 and was going to request a City permit. He then notified me on Dec 26th that he was unsuccessful in contacting Mike for his license number. I then proceeded to call Mike via phone and e-mail and have received no response. He also was to complete unfinished but paid for work from a previous contract. I e-mailed him on Jan 4th and advised him he was in breach of contract and I wanted a refund and I was going to hire a different electrician who has a city license. I have had no response.
