It was an awful experience. They did not show up on the day they were to start or that entire week. They did not call, I had to call them. A project they said would take six to eight weeks took SIX MONTHS. They rarely had anyone at our house working on the project. It was very inconvenient as we had to arrange for care for our dog when the workers were coming, and since we never knew if they were coming or not, my in-laws took my dog every day for six months. For some reason, they installed the floors and then decided to work on painting and cutting the wood trim down there after the floors were installed. Because of this, the floors were scratched noticeably in several places. We had to fight with them to complete the painting (they kept painting the trim flat when we wanted semi gloss but they insisted someone had come and painted it properly). One room still has different shades of white on the wall, we don’t even know how that is possible. They also left without cleaning up after themselves! We threw out buckets and leftover scraps. They did not even clean the floor, which had paint around the entire perimeter from painting the trim after they put it on the walls. The floor is not level, you can see the floor curving. I spent days on my hands and knees scraping up paint with my nails. They only compensated us about $2000 for this, and has the audacity to tell us they still need to make a living! Then do your job properly and you will! I had no problem paying for quality work but this was awful. I’m not responsible for making sure they take home a paycheck. That’s on them and who they choose to do the work. All in all, we completely regretted going with them and actually avoid the basement it makes me depressed to see the outcome after we spent a ridiculous amount of money. I should have called the Better Business Bureau but at the time, I wanted to be done with the whole mess and never think of them again.

"At the time that this project ended there were legitimate concerns on the customers part. We did have scheduling issues and there were some other problems too. That being said there was an effort to take care of the problems over a period of time leading to a final settlement with the homeowners. We did a number of things that were not to their satisfaction and went back more than once. Finally there was a financial settlement with a refund of an agreed upon amount being refunded to the customer. I remember standing with the customers and shaking hands and believing they were satisfied with our efforts satisfy them. This was all in 2015. We warrant our work and would have gone back again if there had ever been an effort to call us back. I received two final pictures of the basement from the homeowner after they finished moving into the space and had no idea that they were not happy. Any business is only as good as the last person who made a comment about them. We are sorry if the customer was not happy and even more sorry they did not call us back to try and fix their issues.
