Krenek's Clock Haven

well works great, i fix everything but i could not fix this and they did fix

After 2.5 months we had heard nothing back so we called the shop and spoke with Rod. To say Rod was unhelpful, disrespectful and rude would be a gross understatement! Rod told us the clock would be done when it's done and he would not tell us anything about the progress of the clock. I told him the man that took the clock said to call for an update on repair costs. Rod told me that's a lie custermers are never told to call the shop. I asked for the name of the owner (Douglas) and to have Douglas call me. Rod refused to take my number and told me maybe Douglas wouldn't be in tomorrow or even the next day. Be warned.... don't deal with this business as long as Rod is an employee. Now we're worried that our clock isn't even there as Rod wouldn't even confirm that our clock was in the shop. VERY poor customer support!

I inherited the clocks from my father, I retained the clock shop that my father used.  I have used other clock shop / repairs in other parts of the U.S., they know Krenick's, and I have found Krenick's to be better than them.  (I do suggest that they might be the best in the US; atleast better than I have found in DC, Maryland, SF Bay area.)  Mr. Nelson (Mr Krenick, who I also knew, passed away several years ago) is the current owner of Krenick's; he makes house calls, checks the clock(s), and takes the movements to his shop, if necessary.  Fixing a time piece takes time; he repairs the movement, hangs it on the wall, and does all the fuss work while it runs on the wall for a month or so  They make every effort to repair / replace clocks with period pieces; they do not repair clock cases.

Very rude and unprofessional, blaming the customer for their lack of organization.  They LOSE clocks and refuse to look for them!  Don't do business here under any circumstances.  I will update review if they find my clock or if I'm able to make the 12 hour drive to pick up the clock they refused to return earlier because it was "torn apart" (read lost) and now refuse to ship.

Dropped off three old clocks that did not run. Several weeks went buy and still no repairs done. After several more weeks
k them back and two were supposed to be repaired. Took them home and they did not work. Took them back and one does
now work but the other one still does not work. After a couple months the third clock was repaired. Took that one home
and that one a old wall clock is working. So two are now working after a very very long wait but the one old mantel  still does
not work. Will take it back again for the thoird time.

Clock Haven said they couldn't find the clock. After my friend's lawyer contacted Clock Haven, only then did Clock Haven contact the police department to say the clock had been stolen. The clock has never been found and Clock Haven has not offered to pay for this very valuable clock.
