The work went well with a few hitches. My greatest disappointment was finishing work wasn't included and I wasn't told it need to be ordered separately. Needless to say, I was not happy.

They arrived per the scheduled time and installed quickly. I would use them again.

We did not use this provider

Laminate floor installation. Everything was great from measurements, deciding on what flooring and what rooms we wanted done, then adding rooms. Installer was prompt, took only 1/2 hour lunch and worked 11 hours to finish the job. Having him come back to do additional rooms too. Couldn't be happier!

The salesman came to our house and measured all the windows. Gave us a price that was higher than some places we checked but also gave us a life time warranty on the windows. The installer came out about week later and confirmed the measurements. He was good in that he talked us out of replacing the bathroom window. He thought it was better to just board up the window because of the water damage caused by having a window in the shower. We agreed. The guys who actually replaced the windows arrived right on time. They did a great job. Couldn't even tell they were here. Only took them four hours to replace five sets of double windows and two single windows.The only problem was that they took off before we could inspect the work. We had a problem with two of the windows but the installer came out right away and fixed them. One of the windows still has a slight yellow cast to the frame but they are going to fix that as well. We love these windows. They even replaced all the crappy tin that was wrapped around the old windows. Well worth the price we paid.

Home Depot in Rockford provided the original contact for the project.  They put us in touch with USA Remodelling who was the affiliated company for the cabinets (See related review).  Our contact at the local Home Depot was good and did what he promised most of the time.  He did not always call us back as promised but mainly because he wasn't getting answers from other Home Depot departments and/or management.  He was very persistent and we felt he tried his best to do what was "right" for us and for Home Depot.  The USA Remodelling salesman pushed us into signing up for the Home Depot credit card for this project.  After reviewing the transaction and talking to the Local Home Depot Representative (LHDR), we determined the credit card was not in our best interest and we should be using the Home Project Loan.  We went to our local Home Depot representative and he promised to check into transferring the financing to the project loan.  He hit several road blocks and was told "No, it is not possible" by several finance representatives.  This is where he went to his management and they didn't seem to want anything to do with it.  Finally after a couple weeks doing contacting various finanical representatives and several anxious phone calls from us, he found a person at the Project Loan office that said there was no problem changing the financing over to a Project Loan.  First major hurdle from Home Depot finally solved.    Next, the LHDR arranged for Pierce Laminating to come out and measure for our countertops.  The countertops were installed in a reasonable amount of time.  We found a crack in the laminate countertop and called Home Depot to send someone out to take care of it.  We had trouble getting Home Depot to call us back about the contact but they finally (after 2 weeks) put us in touch with Pierce Laminate to get the crack taken care of.  That was finally complete on 4-30-2012.       In the meantime, we talked to the flooring department to purchase new flooring.  We picked out a nice laminate flooring that was on sale in the store.  Home Depot had Measure Comp come out and measure and put together a quotation to purchase and install the flooring.  They created the quotation and we accepted it.  A week later, we were told the flooring we had chosen had been discontinued and we would have to select something different at a higher price.  We chose a new product and it took Measure Comp 3 times to get the quotation correct.  They tried to charge us more to install the flooring at a diagonal the the cost of the product and normal installation combined.  The Home Depot flooring rep went to bat and they finally gave us a reasonable price for the installation.  The product is in and it is beautiful.

They did a good job. Some of the cabinets that came in were broken and were the wrong cabinets. They fixed the problem and finally got the job completed.

THE STAFF AT HOME DEPOT WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EAGER TO HELP. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, IN THIS AREA, WHERE I DID NOT. THEY WERE ON TIME, WHEN THEY CAME TO INSTALL THE WATER HEATER, AS WELL.

HOME DEPOT WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EAGER TO HELP. THEY SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO COME OUT AND WERE ON TIME WHEN THEY WERE TO BE THERE. THEY WERE FAST AND VERY NEAT.
