Hire-A-Handyman

Started out well most of the work was completed but the shower door they installed was not what we had discussed and he agreed to replace it. Because it was Christmas we paid him in full even though there was still work to be done and we gave him an additional $200 toward the special order shower door even though it was included in the estimate. We were told the door would arrive in two weeks. After a couple of months of weekly calls to him he finally said the door hadn't been ordered but he was going to order it himself. Shortly after that he became ill so we cut him some more slack. It has now been five months and he never returns phone calls so we assume we're sol. It is a shame that he has taken this unprofessional approach to finishing the job as we were quite satisfied with the work and had hoped to use him for additional work.
