He arrived on time, looked at my present equipment and gave me a quote. I did not have the work done but most likely have Gilley's do it next year.

They do a really good job. The last time we used them they made sure that everything was working fine. They are honest and punctual. We don’t even know they are here although they have been here and that is always a good thing. We would rate them highly and would absolutely continue to use them in the future.

Gilley's called me about 10:30 a.m. and by 1:00 p.m. they were here with a brand new furnace to remove my "sick" furnace and replace it with an even better furnace than I had.  Rodney Gilley was courteous and I felt he really cared about my situation.  The two gentlemen who came to replace the furnace were efficient, professional and cleaned up the area, took all the old furnace parts away while taking care to protect my carpet.  I simply can't say enough about their caring.  I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting honesty and prompt service for their furnace.

They installed my unit and came on Thanksgiving to check my system. I selected them because they are in my neighborhood and will use them again in the future.

They are outstanding and I would give them the highest grades possible. The job took them about 10 minutes. He was out here like almost immediately. We have used them before and have probably called them three times in the past 30 years and they have always done outstanding work. I once had them come out at midnight to fix the furnace because we had a few guests. They are awesome.

When the furnace would not start, I called Gilley for warranty replacement of the inducer.
The first visit confirmed my request but I was charged $70 .  I agree that it had to be verified but I didn't expect to be charged for it.  When the part came in the serviceman replaced it and charged me another $87.  There's something wrong with charging for warranty work.  It really should be billed to the manufacturer.  At the very least, I should have been informed of the charges in advance.

I had the service tech look at the chimney cap (from the ground) while he was there.  He said that someone would call me to check it out.  I was never contacted.

Earlier this month I contacted Gilley to ask for an additional discount for cleaning furnaces in the 5 homes I own,.  I was told that someone would check and call me back.  No one ever contacted me.

Last year was my first experience with Gilley when they installed a new furnace in one of my homes and I was very pleased with the whole process.  I know that the owner is cutting back on his involvement and perhaps this explains my dissatisfaction this time.

Please note that my "C" grade for professionalism is not intended to reflect on the service tech but on the company as a whole.

We built an addition on to our house over 20 years ago. At that time we had a bigger furnace installed to accomodate the bigger house. During that time we have never been happy with the temperature in that room (our bedroom).We even ended up buying a space heater for that room. When our air conditioner quit we knew it was also time to check into replacing the furnace. After talking to several people at the Rockford Home Show, we got estimates from 4 different people. Each one had a different idea of what would work best for us. They did all agree that we had the wrong furnace in then and that is why our bedroom was so cold. Each had a different idea on how to fix it. After much consideration we chose Gilley's. They were not the cheapist but their ideas were explained and seemed to make sense to us. Some of the others left us with some questions as to if they would work or not. Gilley's assured us they would work with us until we were satisfied. They were very professional in all that they did. We were completely satisfied and were even able to give away our space heater. We don't need it anymore.
