Have used after storm in June of 2011. They are very efficient and everyone knows what needs to be done and when. The tree had to be haulded from back yard to street between our house and neighbors. They brought in special end loadder w/ rubber tracks to help eliminate damage to grass. When they left all was cleaned up.

They were very efficient and very professional about the work. For that time, it was very good. It has been kind of frustrating to get them to come back out to do more work. Sometimes they are not the most responsive.

They did an excellent job on the front tree but they never came back for the other tree. They took out the tree and the stump and then they filled it. Everyone knew what they were doing, they did their job, and they did an excellent job cleaning everything up. It was very organized. I called them several times to come back and finish the back yard, but I never heard back from them. It was a major storm and they could have charged almost anything they wanted, but I think the price was very fair. They got here faster than we thought they would and they did a very good job about taking care of everything. They were here the day after I called and we were expecting them to take a few more days. For tree guys, they were professional; they behaved themselves as far as language and everything. I would definitely use them again and my brother has used them as well.

They did a good job. I have always used Flying W Tree Service to trim my trees. I had an ancient Old American Elm that has succumbed to the Dutch elm disease. They cut that down and they were able to preserve my neighbor's fence which was right next to the tree. I thought they did a very good job of trimming and not destroying the surrounding landscape. They have trimmed my other oaks all through the years. They are careful about my yard. They don't just cut it down and leave the pieces. They are very careful of how they bring the branches down, how the canopy is removed, they are careful about the surrounding landscape, shrubs and trees. When I had them remove the other oaks from the woodland, I was particularly concerned about some of the younger trees that I had planted. But they did an excellent job of avoiding damage to my other plants. That is sort of important. They are very personable and they are very caring about the outcome. Price wise I think he is reasonable. I have had some cheaper bids but I like his work awareness that I will go with him. I don't think he is that expensive. As for responsiveness he is very busy and it is hard to get him out quickly. But he comes when he says he is going to be here. When you make an appointment he is always here on time. I will definitely use him in the future.

The storm with its seventy-five mile an hour winds took down a huge Ash tree in our backyard, landing it on our garage. We called Flying W and owner Phil Wing came out the same day we called and gave us a comprehensive estimate after working with us on the details of what we needed done. They were out two days later with a team of four workers and all of the necessary equipment, and had the cluster of four large trunks with huge branch and leaf spread out in less than six hours. Also, excellent cleanup.
