Ed was professional and punctual in all our interactions from phone and email contact to the estimate and actual project. I am very pleased with the quality of his work and would not hesitate to hire him for other projects as well as recommend him to others.

Our wood deck is 14 years old and has had no maintenance at least since we bought the property in 2004. We believed that we would need extensive work, from filling cracks, to replacing boards, in addition to staining, an expensive job. Though he did not need to, Ed convinced us that our deck needed only power washing, staining and sealing. The cracks were not a problem.
Compared to what we thought our deck maintenance would cost, Ed's cost of $355 was very reasonable and an unexpected surprise.
We are located about 15 miles southwest of Rockford, IL in a rural area. Service providers that would come to us for this job are few. Ed had to drive from north of Rockford. Yet he was friendly, helpful, and saved us a lot of expense when he could have sold us a much bigger job. We are grateful. We would use him again.

The owner of this company is Ed Ervin. He will correct something he thinks is an error. He pointed some things on the paint job on the patio side of the house that he did not like. It was bubbling and I had not noticed it. He pointed it out to me and said that he would re-do it and he fixed it. He did not charge me more. I think he wants his reputation to stand and I think he follows through. He is very personable and a very nice guy. Price wise I did not go out on bids on him. So I am not very knowledgeable there. He is so personable that he is more like a friend. He get the job done and gets it right. So I can call that professional. I will use him in the future.
