I have been a Licensed Plumber for 35 years and we have been in business as Birch Plumbing for over 23 years, specializing in solving plumbing issues. Licensed in Plumbing, Back-flow Inspections, Contractors, and Gas Piping. We charge a $50.00 trip fee for normal working hours M-F 8 A.M.-5 P.M. & $75.00 trip fee for emergency services after hours, non scheduled weekends and holidays. Our hourly rate is $100.00 per hour M-F 8 A.M.-5 P.M. & $150.00 per hour for emergency service after hours, non scheduled Saturdays and $200.00 per hour for Sundays and holidays. Clear Water Inspections run $50.00 per normal residence. Back-flow Inspections run $100.00 per valve. Remodels are priced out as a bid, or time & material. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover but charge a processing fee of 5%. Joe was the tech sent out and had it fixed in 30 seconds....I had another tech from another company tell me that we needed a new water heater! To the owners of Birch.....give Joe a raise! To future customers of Birch.....this is the company to call! I'll be a loyal customer from this point on!

Excellent customer service. Showed up on time. Ensured water softener was working properly and valves were not blocked. Replaced water softener filter. Fixed shower handle (older model) that was stuck and checked to ensure no leaks. Took extra time to answer all questions. Quality service for a very fair price. Would hire again.

Work was done very well. Had to cut the pipe coming out of the wall to router out the drain and replaced it with a coupling for easier access in the future. Also went out of the way to address a couple of other issues. Replaced the 3 piece T from the garbage disposal with a one piece style to add strength and remove the sag. Noticed the water pressure at the kitchen faucet was weak, cleaned the screens, and advised that a new faucet was needed to solve the problem. Very professional, handled my obnoxious dog very well, and was thorough in cleaning up when the job was complete.

Birch came out within 24 hours of my call. The service man was almost 1 hour late. No one called me so I called them. He did a good job with the repair. Their rates are good but I was not charged the rate that showed on Angie's List when I made the appointment. I see it has been changed since my service date to reflect the higher charge. The reason I would not use them again is because the guy had wet shoes and tracked that all over my bathroom floor and my hall carpet. The mess in the bathtub was somewhat expected but he could have cleaned some of it up with a rag or paper towels before he left.

What a great company. Called at 9:52 am for service, arrived at 10:58 am. Very professional and friendly. When technician arrived, he immediately cut cardboard to fit under the sink and surrounding floor to prevent water damage. Checked all lines for clogs and the job was complete within the hour. Technician had all supplies needed to clean up when the job was done. Price was very reasonable and we will definitely use them again. Thank you for your prompt service and professionalism.

Called shortly after normal business hours. They had a repairman out within 1.5 hours and a half hour later, the water heater was working again. Very responsive and very friendly. We will definitely call them in the future for plumbing issues.

Work was done in just under an hour and quality of work was good. My only concern was that I had scheduled an appointment the week before and when I called the day of my appointment, I didn't seem to be on their list for the day. We worked it out and they fit me in later in the day. All in all, good work at a fair price.

Had a 26 year old hot water heater that did not leak, but was proactive to obtaining a quote for replacement. I contacted Birch Plumbing based on reviews of other Angie List customers and they quoted a fixed price of $850.00 for a 40 gallon natural gas Bradford white unit. I did ask them on the phone if there could be other charges above that and they stated at times they may need to replace the vent pipe from the old furnace. Typically not over $40.00 charge. I authorized a service call for that Friday and they arrived on time and very professional. Once they saw my unit, I needed to have " tall boy" unit that would cost $40.00 more. Fair price. So they completed the removal and installation of new hot water heater in less than 2 hours for a total price of $890.00. Did not have to replace the vent pipe. One year warranty on parts and labor with a 6 year warranty on tank. Excellent job!!

John was prompt, professional, sweet, and cooperative. He didn't mind two older citizens hovering over him and asking questions. The water heater started leaking on Sunday, and he was out on Monday with a new unit. We have a very favorable impression of Birch Plumbing and highly recommend it.
