ANIMAL MEDICAL CLINIC

We waited what felt like forever but when they told us that it was not good news they were very kind to us and my dog. Before we said our final goodbye they provided us with a private room with her so we could be with her before we let her go. I would definitely recommend this clinic because of the way we were treated and the care and gentleness they showed our dog in her final hour.

We have used four of the vets at Animal Medical for 20 years. We started with Dr. Dave and Dr. Thompson. They were very professional and helpful with our baby. Dr. Buhl and Dr. Mary are our current vets and we find their understanding, knowledge and professionalism is the utmost. I would recommend this clinic and these doctors with no qualms.

We had just bought a puppy at the local Petland in Rockford and Dr. Mary looked over our new pooch. She was very friendly and had so much information it was a bit of overload for us since we hadn't been dog owners in 15+ years! We had a follow-up appointment more recently in early April 2013 with the other doctor (a male) and we didn't care for him as much as Dr. Mary.
What we were unhappy with primarily in the more recent appointment is that we made the appointment to see Dr. Mary but ended up having the other doctor (she was there as well - we saw her just moments before in the lab area). We may switch vets if this happens again.

I have been taking my dogs to Animal Medical Clinic on Morsay Drive for about 15 years. There is one vet in particular that I like, Dr. Mary Stromberg. She is only part-time so I schedule appointments for days she will be there. Over the years my dogs and I have seen other vets at the clinic if Dr. Mary wasn't available. Dr. Buhl is friendly and helpful. I would not recommend the other two vets, I have had poor interactions with both of them.
