It went great. Mike arrived promptly to quote, gave a reasonable price, and started two days later. It was a difficult job as the previous owners had tried to refinish the floors themselves. Mike removed old finishes, fixed cupping and identified the wood as red oak. The previous owners had a cat which had damaged the floor in one room but it was not visible until the old stain was removed. Mike immediately contacted us and replaced the boards at our direction. We were unsure of the color stain we wanted so he stained several areas of floor for us to view and make our selection. The job was finished in 5 days. We live over an hour away and gave Mike the alarm security code. He was very trustworthy about it. When we got there on the last day with new cabinets Mike and his son even helped us unload them. Nice people. I would use them again.
