Boats
When trying to obtain warranty work for my new boat, they required an original sales receipt because the boat was not purchased from them. After the owner called me and in a very rude manner explained that it would take extra time to finish without it (after me telling him that the boat manufacturer said it was not required to have service performed under warranty) he became short and ended the conversation very abruptly. I have had to deal directly with the manufacturer to motivate the owner to want to perform the work. We are still waiting for the finished product, and will update as soon as it is available.
