Auto Glass and Mirrors
On our way to Chicago two weeks ago, we managed to pick up a rock on the Interstate so needed to replace the windshield. We had a $500 deductible with our insurance and a quote from a local Honda dealership was over $1300. My neighbor recommended that I check out Glass Service Center in Rock Island as this is where she purchases glass for her paintings. They are also the installers for our local Honda dealership. The bid was $250 plus tax. Customer service was excellent. They completed the repair within three hours and guarantee the work for lack of leaks for the time that you own the car. Staff told me that the huge difference in the price of this bid and the dealership is the issue of Honda glass. That small logo in the bottom left hand corner cost a great deal more. Car glass is regulated for strength so I was assured that the product installed would be secure, leakproof and safe. So, save yourself some money and get a bid from these folks. They were excellent.
