The people that I dealt with were all pleasant and polite.  I rented the car to drive to Chicago.  I was told that I would be charged by the day and 25 cents per mile for any usage in excess of the 50 miles per day allowance, plus there would be charges of $20. plus $5 per gallon if the gas tank was not full.  As I said, the people were fine.
I was unhappy that I was assigned a five year old car and the car was only reasonably clean.  It did not look like it had been vacuumed out but it was tolerable.
I went  back inside to report that the gas reading was just up to the full mark, not into the mark nor over the mark, just to the mark.
and that there was more minor damage than had been listed on the paper I signed.  She made a note of this.
Driving back, the nearest gas station was 30 miles from the Garco site. I let the tank fill to the automatic pump stop and drove the 30 miles to Garco.  When the woman checked the odometer and gas she told me that it looks like some gasoline is needed.  I told her how it was when I got the car and what I had done about refilling it and she did not charge me anything extra.
The people were all reasonable.  I would not rent from there again because of the very limited mileage included and because of the age and condition of the car.
