Everything went smooth, Justin arrived on time, he was very professional and quick, but quality quick. We thought it would take hours, but after explaining what we wanted Justin went to work and we couldn't have been happier with the service he provided our company.

The technician (who said he was not the owner did the above described work in less that a couple of minutes and presented me with the bill for $55.00 , I had expected the service call for $45.00. He did quote me a additional $10.00 for a new key - which was not the problem. The extra $10 I was told was adjusting the lock. I knew when I wrote the check I had made a bad choice. I asked if this would take care of my problem and was told if it doesnt call us back for another service call. At the time of this writing the same problem has occured again. I did not call them back and called another lock company. I would not recommend them to anyone for there lock service.

The person who came out was very nice, professional and did a good job.

He did arrive immediately and I explained what I wanted and why.  At first everything seemed to go well but then the personal phone calls began and the only thing that mattered from then on was rushing to leave.  I did not get new storm door keys because he said I did not need them.  He replaced a new lock on one door without consulting me (probably sold it to another customer later?}  With each of several phone calls he hurried more and as a customer I mattered less.  I had experience with A-1 from my job and this never would have happened with them.  I cannot afford to make changes immediately but will as soon as possible.  I will never use anyone but A-1 from now on.

After the dealership couldn't make a new key for my vehicle because it was too old. (2000 Ford Expedition) They referred me to Dave's Lock Service. The dealership was going to charge 155.00 for TWO programmed keys. 
Dave's charges 165.00 for ONE programmed key and one GENERIC key just to open the door. It is almost unheard of for ANYONE to be more expensive than a DEALERSHIP. 
As far as the service goes, they made the key and it worked.

I went to the shop to have some keys duplicated. While there, I inquired about an estimate to recore my locks, the price ($55) was reasonable and I was able to set an appointment for the very next day for between 1-3pm. Dave's son, Justin arrived promptly and finished the job quickly. Since he finished so quickly, I inquired about re-coring the double cylinder deadbolt on my front door, he was able to do it as well for an additional $20.
