I purposely waited until Spring to provide this review.  I lack the words to convey the awesome service I received from Mr. Maloney and his crew.

Within 24 hrs. of my email Mr. Maloney contacted me for permission to tour the site and within hours of his tour I received a proposal.  I had a lot of questions so I called Mr. Maloney whereby all questions were answered to my satisfaction. 

Bottomline, his crew was prompt, thorough, and the property protected at all times while work was being performed.  Work was completed within specified timeframe.

I noticed a problem at the main entry way of the property and asked if they could come back, Mr. Maloney stated we can look at it now and probably take care of it for me.  And he did!    The garage and the front entry way look absolutely fabulous.

Massive prep work, given the state of the previous paint. Great attention to the aesthetic details and communication. We've used them before on internal jobs and will definitely use them again.

I called Pat, gave him the address and told him what I wanted. He went by and called me back with a bid. I accepted it, we set a date and they came on time and called me when they were finished. I went over after they left and noticed a couple things that weren't finished. Because we negotiated on the phone, I wasn't there to point out every detail, so that was the reason some things were not completed. They came back the next day and finished the job. I would hire them again.

They power washed the entire exterior, which is old aluminum siding from the 1970s. There were a whole number of places where the old paint had bubbled or been chipped over the years. They worked hard at scraping, prepping, and priming the places where the paint had come off. They painted the house and garage with two coats, and some fascia and columns. They were very precise, with clean lines everywhere. And they put up 7 new pairs of shutters for us at the end. The work took about 2 weeks because of weather delays. Throughout the job, Pat checked in with us regularly to see if we had any questions. Pat and the crew were very polite and professional.
This was the second job we hired them for, the first being some interior work. And we'd be happy hiring them for a third job when the time comes.

Our 100 year old wood clapboard house had been covered in asphalt shingles for 30 plus years. We obtained several bids to paint the clapboard after we removed the shingle siding. Paint Pros was the only bidder who recommended we wait a winter season to help let the wood and quot;dry outand quot; after having been covered for so long.
The professionalism by the owner and his stated experience with 'restoration-quality' homes drew us in. However, within the first year, the house began to peel in large sections around the house. We asked Paint Pros to come back and inspect. The owner told us that he would fix the areas that were peeling but said that he would not be coming back every year. I explained that I, too, didn't want him back every year, but would like to get the problem areas fixed. He had his team come out in a timely manner and scrape/repaint the areas that needed work. (about 5% of the exterior.)
Sure enough, every year since, our home has continued to peel. Now, more than 60% is peeling. We can finally afford to have it redone and this time I am using Angie's List to find a painter who has a proven track record. Unfortunately, Paint Pros has 2 A ratings.

Patrick and his company were great to work with from start to finish. I needed to coordinate an exterior siding project with having my porch repainted, and Patrick was very flexible. He was able to come out almost immediately after the siding job was completed. He was very helpful in picking out the color, spending time to discuss options, and even coming by to paint color samples on the porch columns so that I could get an idea of what color I liked best. His staff was very thorough, meticulous, and tidy. They power-washed all surfaces, scraped off all loose paint, repaired cracks with epoxy, smoothed uneven surfaces, applied caulk around the base of the porch columns, and applied a few coats of high quality paint. Both the porch and window wells were in pretty sad shape, but Paint Pros made them look new. When Patrick came by to oversee the job, he noticed that the trim around the front door was cracked and peeling. Although it was not included in his bid, he had is staff scrape and repaint it as well (at no additional cost). The painters also gave me two cans of paint (one of each color) in case I ever need to touch up a scratch. My porch is no longer a neighborhood eyesore, and I can rest easy knowing that the basement window well wood is now protected against the elements. I'll definitely be using Paint Pros again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

The garage looks terrific! We are fully satisfied with the entire project. The quality of the work is excellent. The workers were polite. The clean up was thorough. Exactly what we wanted.
