We called Joanmarie  in a last minute effort to choose paint colors before our painters were due to arrive the following week.  Joanmarie made an appointment with us for the very next day.  She's spent 1-2 hours with my wife discussing colors and design ideas.  We were very grateful for her last minute assistance and energizing personality.  We put her color suggestions to use and are overall satisfied.   If we decide to use a design consultant in the future, we definitely would consider calling Joanmarie first!

I consider myself lucky to have found her. I had peace of mind knowing that she was overseeing the entire project. I redecorated my entire house, including flooring, painting and replacing furniture.

My house looks great and is very easy to maintain.

I can confidently give her the highest recommendation.

It went very well. The fire place needed to be perked up, and Joanmarie directed us to someone that stained the stone, which
turned out beautifully. She gave me a lot of help over the phone, even before she came to the house. We went over various things that could be done. We wanted a mantel, so she suggested the type of mantel that would look best in this room, lighting above it to show off a picture, and also suggestions for the color for a new fire place door. I liked the colors she suggested for the walls, and she made a trip to the carpet store and chose a few styles and colors that would work well, and also new blinds for the windows. (In the near future, we plan on focusing on a few pieces of furniture). Joanmarie was just great to work with. She was so helpful through the whole thing. While the work was being done, and things came up about one thing or another, she was very very good at helping me make more decisions, (not to mention very patient!) The rooms look just great now and having Joanmaire's help was just the best!! It sure took a load off, having her services.

IThis is the second review I have written because I am on the move again after 6 years here, and I am so grateful for Joanmarie's help. My Realtor's stager came to look at the property and said, 'Don't change a thing.' I had only two people come through my house, and both of them made cash offers! This house is both beautiful and comfortable, and is easily recognized as such, and I credit this all to Joanmarie. To sell the house in a week is a great relief and I know that it happened because of the original design work and also because of the bit of staging that Joanmarie did herself.
When I moved here, Joanmarie found the tradesmen and supervised the work while I was on a long vacation. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty, and even went ahead and unpacked boxes, had the silver polished, placed everything and cleaned up. I was delighted to return to a nearly 'done' home. Now that I am moving again, she has returned to powerfully edit my belongings, as I move from a house to a high-rise. With me, she sorted and organized my belongings to go to charity, to friends, or to remain for the professional moving sale I will be having. She has taken the space plan for my new apartment and made decisions I trust for a color/paint plan, about what to keep, what to recover and what to buy new, and she is down at the Mart making those decisions while I worry about other things. I don't have the vision to work with a blueprint to achieve that.
I don't know how I would have done this without her vision and assistance, but I know that when I am settled in my new place, my guests will love it and so will I. It will again be beautiful and comfortable and highlight my most dearly loved furnishings and art.

I am a man who works and I don't have an eye for design, My house was white and boring. I wanted my house to look like a man and his cat (Goldie) lived there. Joanmarie has been working with me planning, designing, and re-habbing my home. We have worked together for since the end of 2010. So far we have completed my living room, kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. We went over the paint colors for each room. She also worked with the contractor as the work was done.

Joanmarie has helped me with the purchase of several furniture pieces, carpets, kitchen cabinets, paintings. window treatments (custom blinds and shades) and she designed a railing that the contractor made from scratch. She also helped me with sconces and light fixtures. Another major project was turning one of my bedrooms into a home office. I am 6and quot;4and quot; and Joanmarie found a company that made a custom desk to fit me comfortably along with a Bookshelf and Storage Unit. She also waited at my home when the office furniture was delivered and assembled. I am so pleased with my painting in the living room. I get complements from everyone.

This project has been a good experience for me because of Joanmarie. Most important we have agreed to buy quality from paint to artwork. She collaborates with me and we spend the money in big areas first and now we are down to accessories. All the time I have been going to work. Our next job is finding a chair for my living room, finishing the guest bedroom and planning for my basement. So I will get back when we finish.

I had a living room and dining room that I needed help with redesigning. She is an interior designer so she envisioned what the whole project should like. She is capable of moving walls and doors if needed for the project. I had been looking for a designer for about 10 years and she was so easy to work with and was able to help me with the whole process. I had been collecting magazines of furniture for about 10 years and was able to show her what I had in mind and she was able to locate furniture that I would love. She was able to find furniture all over the country and even out of the country. Blue is my favorite color and was able to emphasis this concept into my designs. She definitely puts 150% into her work. She does a concept for a room or a home. The furniture is all hand made. She does not focus on small projects such as helping with curtains for a room. Everything looked beautiful, classic, and comfortable.

She helped me with color selections for my entire home this includes all the interior, a huge basement, siding, doors, and even little details like my window treatments. I am so impressed with the color schemes she chose, the entire house flows and it is going to look amazing. I originally planned on getting some expensive horizontal plantation blinds in a “wood like color”-----she saved me from making that mistake and suggested something more neutral. These are expensive projects and I wanted to make sure the colors I chose would help sell my home----not keep it from selling. She gave me great ideas for home staging and went above and beyond in customer service for me. She is also very sweet and pleasure to work with.

We are still working. I plan to enlist Joanmarie to complete my whole house.

She does an outstanding job! I am still working with her. I have used her for about 2 years.

She knew what I wanted. She has exquisite taste. She can fit her product to your budget and she can find you a bargain, but absolutely nothing ever looks cheap. She can do large scale projects or small scale projects.

She was fantastic. Her prices were very reasonable and we would use her again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others. It was a great experience.

Joanmarie worked like a slave but made it all fun for me. First the wall went, and then the floor and painting work began while I was on a long vacation. She found the tradesmen (including a plumber we renovated the ground floor powder room) and supervised the work while I was away. What I like about her company is that Joanmarie has a lot of respect for the "stuff" you already have, she doesn't wave her arm and tell you it all has to go. She might re-dress a chair or add cushions and they are never cheap, but they are perfect and so each place I have seen her do is very individual. My house does not look like a furniture store, my guests comment on how pretty it is and how comfortable it is. She knows that the guy needs a big chair and a place for a drink and she makes it work but still look good. All I have left to do is a little wallpaper. She brought me 4 samples from the Mart for each room and then I chose from those, the house is still mine.
