Excellent! Very attentive and very nice!

I not only needed cleaning and sealing but repair work as well. I have been looking for a company that knew what they were talking about when giving me an estimate. Billy explained the problem areas and advised what was wrong and how things needed to be corrected; unlike other companies that would just come look around and write a number on an estimate. The repair men are knowledgeable, hard-working and did a good job cleaning up. This company is 5 stars! We had our sidewalk repaired, patio tower rebuilt because it was leaning, and several areas in the patio raised so water wouldn't pool-up.

It went great. Especially since it was done in kind of a triangular area. They really did a good job with that. I thought the price was fair and I'm real happy with the final result. Would definitely recommend them for this type of work.

Old World Brick Paving was excellent in every way, from the moment I contacted them until the end. Working with Rosi was a pleasure. The crew was excellent, very professional, hard-working, and friendly. They demolished an old wooden deck and took out old brick paver the first day, prepped the spot the second, and set the pavers the third. On top of all of that, they navigated the problems of parking in the city and the added difficulty of having to haul all materials--demolished debris and new materials--from the street to the backyard over a hundred fifty feet away with aplomb. I recommend Old World Brick Paving to everyone.

Greg Waters and the team at Old World Brick Paving did and excellent job with our paver work from the initial visit & quote to the final install. Greg worked with us every step of the way including design and measuring as well as placement of our firepit and seat wall. The crew which did the install was very clean and professional. Old World Brick Paving installed our beautiful brick patio five years ago. Unfortunately we caused some horrible stains by piling branches on it for a few weeks due to the very rainy Spring. Frank quickly provided us an easy remedy to remove the stains until the weather permitted them to clean and seal the patio. The crew did an excellent job. The patio looks brand new again! Friendly and professional service!

Perfect. The pavers look beautiful. Better than new and the way they sealed them I know will last. Happy to have found them, will not use another company for this work as they are professional and expert in this area.

The repairs were done shortly after signing the contract, and with high quality. The crew was professional, courteous, and hard working. Overall, doing business with the company was a pleasant experience. Greg, the primary contact, who provided estimates, facilitated the contract and further communications regarding the Village permit for the patio and possible options after the planned patio was not allowed, was professional, responsive, punctual and easy to communicate with. So was Frank, who handled the permit process. The pricing for services was very competitive. I highly recommend Old World Brick Paving.

i thought everything went well. work looks great. my one complaint is that i wish they would have contacted me prior to starting the job. basically we agreed to a deal and was told they weren't sure when they would be able to start because of weather. i said no problem, just let me know when they plan on coming out, maybe a day before. two weeks later i come home and the guys are there working without any notice. i wanted to mow my lawn before they came out so it wouldn't get too long between the cleaning and final seal. my lawn was super overgrown and was just able to cut it yesterday. they did contact me prior to the second time coming out for the sealing which i appreciated. overall though great job and would use again.

Frank came out and gave a thorough explanation of what they could do and what he recommended. His team was professional and extremely hard working. Would most definitely hire them again.

Project went great. Moved very quickly from estimate to the work and always very professional. The crew was great, worked very hard to get the work done and done well. Even though we had a few changes to the design after they started, which they totally accommodated, there were no delays other than another Nature. From Frank to the crew, everyone was professional and easy to work with and we would definitely work with them again.

The install and follow through went beautifully. The team was punctual, and follow up was excellent. The owner and project manager were really responsive and made sure I was satisfied. The brick patio is exactly what I wanted.

Great job all around. Bill was easy to work with and got the driveway done in the timeframe we needed. He was frequently at the worksite overseeing the project, and we love the end result.

It went very well. Bill, our contact at Old World, was very professional and responsive. He arrived on the first day of installation to introduce us to the crew and show them what needed to be done. The crew did a beautiful job. They were polite, professional and cleaned up the backyard and driveway before they left every evening of the three-day job.

We used Old World Brick in October 2017 to replace a concrete patio that had heaved. Frank and his team were wonderful. They were able to work around our schedule, and the job was very quick! I appreciate that Frank was able to help when we needed guidance on colors. The finished product looks great.

The quality for the project was outstanding, and there was a lot of issues around it. Here is the deal. I went on, lot of great reviews. Good quality, and they knew what they were doing. As far as the product and as far as the workers and installation, very highly rated. At the end of the day,that is what counts. The communication, the way they ran the project. The first example is they measured wrong. Then they blamed me for measured wrong, even though they measured. That was item one. Second, they ruined my sidewalk. The sidewalk was old, but they didn't put any board, to try to cushion the bob cat. They destroyed my sidewalk, punched a whole in my garage. Then I got a couple more. They made a big deal saying, you can go to the store to like this pavers before they come there. The next thing I know it showed up in the backyard. It was the same thing, but if you are going to do that. The whole thing is, very little communication. A lot of push back. My fault as the owner. I don't know. I know they dealt with an independent contractor taking the measurements. Who do you blame. The contractor or the company. They never got back. I sent an email that I was unhappy. They never bothered getting back to me. The lady who did the estimate, to her credit she came back and said you measured wrong. She started pushing back, and no, it was you. Don't even start it. They tried to fix the garage, and the sidewalk. I didn't ask for a new sidewalk, but the owner didn't respond. After all the aggravation, I made a mental note to not pay them for two weeks until after the project was done. If you didn't bother to communicate with me,I'm not going to jump through hoops getting a check out. They called a week after wanted to know where the money was at, and I said you didn't bother to respond to me, and we are going to make you wait two weeks to get a payment. I never run into a situation that the quality of the work was so good, and the pricing was ok. I didn't price around hard, but it wasn't a concern. The end of the line was. They measured wrong, and it would cost me an extra two grand. It was twenty percent more. I don't care how much it cost, but it was all laid in. There is more problems going on than this. I have never met a contractor, especially Angie's List, who's quality is so good, and didn't bother to communicate. Part of the problem is its a company who use contractor's for the work, and contractor's for the estimates. You are responsive for the whole process. He has several companies lying around. Really really tried to think. I don't want to blab, but I am not happy. I have never loved the project when its done, and the aggravation. I have dealt with contractors all the time, and never had this experience before. They forget the customer is the source of the revenue. I never believed anything they said, and I had to double check. When they lie that you measure that way, I don't believe anything you say. I had to check the material. I could see them with the wrong material, and walking away. I am perplexed with the several contractors. They use bunch of contractor's in the Chicago area. Lets fix the whole in the garage, and they did hear about it. They took the shingles from the garage. They dug a tree root, which they didn't have to do. My sidewalk is trashed. It was an amazing experience. It was quality work, and they knew what they were doing. It was ruined with the bad behavior on the side. They took a A customer, a rating that they would have had, and they blew it to shreds with the lack of response and communication.

The work was fantastic. The dirt behind the edging had to be dug out and when it was completed couldn't even tell that it had to be dug out. The entire job took 3 days because of the all the work that needed to be done. They powered washed the brick with a 4000 psi washer and it looked great! The sealer was applied and the entire patio looks fantastic! The responsiveness with the sales guy, Sam, wasn't real good. After we agreed to let them do the work we were never notified of when they were coming and then they just showed up. There were also a few times during the consultation phase that it took Sam a couple of days to get back to us. Even with the responsiveness of the their sales guy the work was exceptional and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

A few scheduling issues but overall really great service and attention to detail. The workers cleaned up every aspect of the job site and were meticulous.

From start to finish OWBP was professional, punctual, and on top of everything in regards to the project. The patio turned out so much better than I would have thought and it looks beautiful! The only thing I wish was that they recommended someone who could help with the surrounding area as I need to have it regraded so the rain will not run-off onto the patio.

The salesperson, Scott, was great. He came out to our home several times at our request to walk through the process and design. The install team showed up on time. Project was on schedule. Our patio, fire pit and seating wall turned out amazing. We were very pleased with the service from OWBP and would recommend them.

We are thoroughly impressed with the finished product. From the design phase through construction, everything was completed in a professional and courteous manner. Contractors removed the old concrete slab quickly and installed/graded the new patio quickly. We would recommend Old World Brick Paving and use them again.
