His pricing was pretty consistent with two other quotes from people. He was pretty timely with his deadlines. I liked the options that he gave us and we ended up doing an option that we really liked. There was one fairly major miscalculation which our contractor was able to work through and figure out a solution. It ended up not being a huge deal when all was said and done. However, if we had a different contractor, I am not sure what would have happened. The overall accuracy of the stairs from the first floor to the second floor were not calculated right. Instead of being straight up, they needed to turn which impacted the size of another small window. It also affected the stairs below it. I don't know if all contractors would have done that or if they would have said, go back to your architect to fix it. I think it was a fair price. I think he was completely fair for the service that they provided and comparable to the other architects that we had quoted. He had some special characteristics that we were looking for relative to experience with older homes.
