People used the paino like a table, it was really abused. Over 60 years it was badly scrathed. I didn't know if they would be able to fix it.They invite you in to make sure they are going in the right direction. They put coats of paint on sanded it down. It took awhile, but I was not in a hurry. I went in twice to make suggestions and they did it totally agreeable, no problems. They are very nice people. The workman was nice. The owner was nice. I thought they did a wonderful job. I had never seena piano of this tone of wood before and a lot of people compliment me on it. This was a big job, but the payoff was phenomenal. I cannot

I HAVE AN UPRIGHT FROM 1948. A PEDAL WAS BROKEN AND A FEW KEYS WERE NOT PLAYING WELL. JULIAN (OUR TUNER) KEPT US ENTIRELY INFORMED WITH WHAT HE WAS DOING, AND HELPED US UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PIANO NEEDED TO BE TUNED 3 TIMES BECAUSE IT HASN'T BEEN TUNED OR PLAYED IN YEARS. SO THE TUNING PRICE WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT THEY NORMALLY CHARGE. HE WAS INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY AND HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN. I MADE THE APPOINTMENT THROUGH JEFF, WHO WAS ALSO EXTRA PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH OVER THE PHONE.
