Great job! Honest and professional.
Came out within a couple of hours of my call, assessed the problems quickly and completed the repairs needed. One part needed to be ordered and installed on a later date. The follow through was timely and services performed quickly and without any hassle.

Dana (the owner) came out personally to assess my situation. We have a very weird septic system which empties into a field on the far side of my neighbor's house, UPHILL! It's a nightmare on a good day. When the original pump died, Dana came to inspect it and determine what would best suit my needs. We had a little hiccup - the guys who installed it didn't get the pipes reconnected quite tight enough, so in a couple of days they came loose and we had sewage seeping out around the tank again. Dana came out immediately, emptied the tank (on his dime) and fixed the situation. No problems since!

Then last summer I got a notice from the health department that my septic field was failing and that there was standing sewage on the field. NOTE: PITEL did NOT install this system, the builders used someone else. But I called him right away to come help me! He (again) came immediately and spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out why it would be leaking or backing up in the field. Turns out - It wasn't my field leaking! The field I owned wasn't the one that was actually hooked up to my house (the builder hooked the lines up incorrectly during construction)! (Again, Pitel did not install it so none of this was their fault). Dana is the one who figured it out for me. After all that investigative work, I didn't actually need any work done since it wasn't my system leaking. Dana was very generous and didn't even charge me a fee for his time.

My experience has been that Dana Pitel is a very nice, honest businessman and I will be calling him for all of my septic system needs.

We found the ground around the septic tank cover very wet and talked Pitel Septic after reading their reviews. They came out immediately, identified the problem and explain the repairs and cost. What we appreciated most was their solution to a pre-existing problem. They were very professional and we will use them again.

Serviceman was efficient, helpful. Gave me some good advice on how often to have the septic pumped, what kind of paper to use, condition of the pipes and tank.

One corner of yard was constantly wet, even in dry weather. I suspected that the septic drainfield was messed up, so I called Pitel. They came the next day and did a great job of pumping the tank and all junction boxes associated therewith. I was afraid I would need certain other work done, but they said that was probably unnecessary (even though they could have done it). They suggested that I let them do their work, and then wait and see if I still had a problem with the drain field. I took their advice, and so far (almost a year) everything is working fine.

I called to schedule an appointment and they had one for the next day. Gerardo was on time and asked if I had any questions. I did have some questions, which he answered. Everything went as expected; no mess and no problems. I really couldn't be happier. Gerardo was very friendly and we had a nice conversation while he was working. I will definately use them next time.

I am new to the care of septic systems and contacted Pitel Septic Inc to clean the tank. I am very happy with the service that they provided - both the office staff that answered the phone and the fellow who did the work at the house. Friendly, easy to talk with, on time, and they delivered on everything they said they would. He even took the extra time to answer my many questions on the condition and status of our system. He took the time not only answer my question but he went above and beyond and gave me some additional advice on things to watch for and other recommendations.

Throughout the entire process I was kept advised of what was happening. At each step they told me what they were doing, and why they were doing it. In the end, a job I feared would cost me several thousand dollars, ended up costing only a few hundred. Additional work that I figured would have cost several hundred dollars, ended up costing me nothing, because I was assured it was unnecessary. They could have easily put their hands in my pocket for either job, but they didn't. They even advised me on what steps I could take to prevent a recurrence. The employees were very friendly and answered all my questions. They carefully cleaned up after they were finished and left no "droppings" anywhere on the ground. When it comes time to pump the tank again, you can "bet the ranch" I will be calling PITEL.

We didn't know the leach field was dead, he pumped the tank and explained that the leach field needed work and that the whole septic system may need to be replaced. When groundwater filled our tank and our yard, he went above and beyond the call of duty in helping to resolve our situation.
