We can't say enough about how delighted we were with not only the results of our total kitchen remodel, but the experience of working with Mike, Ryan and Jared. From our very first contact, they were reliable and responsive, answering all texts and calls promptly and keeping appointments punctually. They offered ideas but were also highly respectful and responsive to ideas we presented, always saying "We can make that happen!", even when we had some really out-there requests like cutting a whole section of cabinets out around our 100 year old laundry chute and installing a stained glass window! Ryan and Jared are superb carpenters; their work is beautiful and they pay careful attention to detail. Best of all they are both extremely polite and pleasant, which really matters when someone is in your home every day for several weeks. They had our kitchen completely demolished down to the plaster and back to being a functioning kitchen in just 4 weeks , including significant plumbing and electrical repairs and upgrades , as well as delays in shipping of a replacement for a damaged cabinet (not their fault!) and our new window. They have well-established relationships with a number of local subcontractors and vendors who are equally reliable and skilled, so the project moved along without any other delays. We would hire them without question to do other work on our home!

The job done was exactly what we wanted. It was a remodel of an old deck and it looks great. The contract agreement was flexible to work with our needs and the quality of the workmanship was amazing. Very friendly and professional organization.

After talking to a few other contractors, we decided to hire Kodiak to gut and remodel our kitchen. Working with Mike, Jared, and Ryan couldn't have been a better experience for this generally confused and anxious home owner who'd never hired out for something like this before. Mike was great on the business side, and stuck to what he said, and was very direct and upfront about what was and wasn't feasible, and he and Rob from Cabinet Land put together a great looking floor plan that works much better for us. Jared and Ryan were on time every day, bright eyed, bushy tailed, and ready to go without complaint or excuse. They were very easy to discuss the project with, and were quick to ask questions instead of assuming. They were also very gracious in letting me; the curious, interested, and probably at times obnoxious homeowner be curious, interested, and at times, probably obnoxious. Jared also installed ridge vents in my attic, and a new back storm door. All that being said, I couldn't be happier with Kodiak and their work, and will definitely hire them for future projects.

Excellent work was done by Mike, Jared, and Ryan of Kodiak Improvements, Inc. They are a lean, efficient team of professionals who delivered what they quoted. For items that weren't part of the quote but needed replacement, they were upfront and I never felt that I was caught by surprise. They were honest, thorough, and very skilled and their work shows it.

All the guys at Kodiac we’re very professional and caring towards the wants and needs of my project. I had several windows installed in a very short amount of time. They were here every day on time and worked very efficiently to get my windows installed quickly. The product is amazing. I’ve been able to turn my heat down 4 degrees after the install. The windows look excellent and all my trim was put back perfectly. The price was the best I could find out there and I did plenty of research. I would recommend Kodiac Home Improvements for any job you need done you will be glad you did. Very honest and reliable. Thanks Kodiac 😀

They came buy took measurements said we would get a quote and never heard back from them. So they are unreliable

Submitted a request for a quote from Angie's List and we heard from them a couple of weeks later to tell us that they were so backed up with work from the hail storm that they wouldn't be able to get to us for months and he recommended another company that might be able to get to us in a more timely manner. REALLY APPRECIATE their level of professionalism to admit they wouldn't be able to meet our needs in a timely manner and that they were willing to recommend someone else. They really respected our time, didn't lead us on, and acted as you would expect a professional company to conduct itself

Mike Durst and his crew have performed several remodeling and repair jobs on our house in the past few years, including installing a new kitchen and bathroom, bathtub and toilet in another, sixteen windows (including our living room picture window), back stairway to our deck, and a new roof on our garage. The fact that we’ve had them back on different occasions to install all this should say enough, but they’ve been really good to work with, and we’ve been more than satisfied with the quality of their work. As such, we definitely recommend Kodiak Improvements if you need general contracting work done in your home or business.

It seems strange that I list this as a "plus" but from the time they came for the estimate until the time they left, it was handled professionally. i work an off-shift and left them to secure the garage when they left and had exactly zero problems. Estimate was done and they showed up ON TIME!!! Not early. Not late. When they said they would. Not gonna lie, this (more than price) helped secure them the job. Their estimate came in just about in the middle of the four I got. Much lower than their next closest competitor. The plan was laid out and the fence went up as discussed. Very pleased with the work and will seek them out if I am in need of other work projects.

Kodiak Improvements fixed the issue less than two hours after their initial inspection. A point in the roof just needed some sealant applied to prevent water seepage. Cost was very reasonable -- would definitely consider Kodiak for other work.
