SERVPRO of Quincy

Servpro came to clean our carpets in 2 bedrooms and a stairwell. The carpets looked awesome and they were there when scheduled. The price was great for the job they did . Will see them next year !

During cleanup from my in-laws house fire many of their possessions were damaged further or lost due to
Servpro's actions, negligence or inability.  Servpro came quickly after the fire and appeared to be performing quality
service, but after several weeks of we began asking about when the items taken would be cleaned and returned. Upon visiting their warehouse we found that many of the items removed from the premises remained wet in the original boxes.  Because of this delay some of the items had begun to mold and were now beyond salvageable. We went through the boxes and put items that we still wanted them to clean in new boxes, and items for discard in a separate area.  More weeks passed and still items remained unclean.  Worse yet, some of the items had disappeared completely including a silver castor set which was a family heirloom.  Unfortunately when you experience a catastrophic event like a house fire your first thought is not to protect yourself from those who have come to help. In retrospect we should have made a detailed inventory list of items as they were removed. When we asked Servpro to give us their list they had not made one either. Now there is no way to prove what things were taken and not returned. Additionally, many of the things that were returned were still sooty and smelled of smoke. Sadly, the only record of missing items lives in the memory of my wife and mother-in-law sister who spent 2-3 days sorting through wet boxes with my late father-in-law doing a job we have paid Servpro to do.
