"[removed member name], we are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with our work. Being a family business, we strive to offer the best to our customers. Your air conditioner we worked on had some age on it which means it was using R-22 refrigerant. Unfortunately, with government regulations, this type of refrigerant has been phased out and continues to cost more and more each year as the supply depletes. When giving quotes, we always use our professional judgment as to what the best option is for the customer in the long run. Our estimator felt replacing the indoor and outdoor unit would be the best option due to the refrigeration change that is in effect. Updating both units would guarantee that repairs down the road would be possible with the new Puron refrigerant. Also, we felt that replacing both units would give you the most efficiency. We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the quote. We always encourage our customers to contact us with any questions or concerns so that we may explain why something was quoted the way it was. This also allows us to explain what type of value we are including in the work. Many times it's hard to compare one quote from the other since it's not always comparing apples to apples in regards to the efficiency of the equipment and what the company is including or not including in their work. Again, we are sorry you were not satisfied with our services. Our number one goal is customer satisfaction."
