Commercial Lawn Care Fall / Spring Clean Up Service
D&R Lawn called Saturday to set an appointment for Monday. I was expecting to see a business rep with a clipboard taking detailed measurements of the lawn, try to upsell, and setting another day for the actual service. INSTEAD, I met Darin (owner) Monday morning and the leaves were removed from ~1000 sq ft (50 x 20 ft) yard on the same day in about 2 hrs. Night and day difference! I WILL hire them again in the spring.

Darin was friendly. He removed leaves and left the lawn neat and clean. Friends and neighbors commented on how well the lawn looked. He also cleaned the gutters and noticed a problem on the roof of the porch.

Darin and Ricardo cut down a tree, cut it up into manageable sizes for me to use later and moved it to a location that I requested ! Darin also weeded and trimmed my front landscaping perfectly! The cleanup afterward was wonderful ! I would highly recommend, and will be using them again ! I m a senior citizen and their work for me was so well done !

I wish I had done the hedges 3 years ago! D&R Lawn Care could only take them down so far. All the cuttings were picked up and the area looked good. In about another 2 or 3 months he will be back to trim the hedges again. I highly recommend them!

Darrin owner refused to dump my leaves for free where the city allows. He wanted to charge me $50 to dump them at his area. I refused to let him do any work. And he gladly left my property. He also said leaf removal was $5 more then he quoted me 1 week prior. He didnt remember orig. Quote. He also was not on time. He said 1 hour and over 2 hours later he arrives with a different story of his days events.

"I gave the same quote on the day I looked at the project and the day I came to do the job and explained the break down of the charges and he agreed with everything. The customer was very rude and didn't remember what we discussed. I told the customer I would be there in an couple of hours,because at the time I was working on another job in Champaign and he said that was fine, just let him know when I was coming. The reason why I couldn't dump the waste where wanted me to,was I had other waste on my trailer from customers that didn't live in the area. We always strive to meet all customer needs and do the job the best way possible and save them money as well"

D & R Lawn Care did a great job. Darren listened to all or my concerns. He set up a weekly schedule to come back and mow my lawn, weather permitting. We have had a lot of rain. I have 10,000 square feet of grass. They mowed this faster than I could myself. Next trip in addition to mowing my lawn, he will trim my hedges and remove a pile of branches that the man I hired last year failed to burn. That's why I give D & R 5 Lawn Care stars. What I really wanted was to have them roll my lawn to smooth it out. The day they did show up I commented that the job done did little or nothing to accomplish this. They said they would come back with a heavy roller. That was over 2 weeks ago. A waste of money as far as I'm concerned.
