Mr. Johnson communicated with us daily to update us on the work that was being done and the approximate completion date. He did a fantastic job matching the texture on our drywall. You can?t even tell where it was damaged. I would highly recommend him for all your drywall needs.

Gordon was on time to the minute and helped to decide the scope of the project. This was very helpful as I've not had this type of work done before. He and his son worked quickly and everything looks very nice!

Gordon performed incredible plastering which means that little or no sanding was required. It took two days of work and he always called in advance to let us know when he would arrive. He was very efficient and we appreciate his work.

He did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier with the work.  I had already taken the majority of the stucco off of about a 10' x 12' patch to save a little money.  Gordy came right in the day after he quoted us and got the first layer on.  It worked-out well as he was doing another job at the time and was able to squeeze our job in in the mornings.  It saved us money and he was able to maximize his time.  He is very professional.  He explained his process to us and answered all of our questions through the whole job.  He matched the rough texture almost perfectly and if you didn't know there was a patch there, you could not tell today.  We did the sealing and painting afterwards, but I'm sure his job would have been as good or better.  All in all, a great value for the money and I will be using Gordy's services again.

They were hired by a contractor, Beyer Builders.  They were prompt, professional, experienced, and it was clear that they had worked together for some time.  I felt comfortable having them in my home and the workmanship was excellent.  The day after they completed the job, we accidentally put a small hole in one of the walls.  Gordy Johnson was out early the next morning and promptly fixed it.

Gordon cut out the damaged area, added wood framing, and expertly plastered the area.  He perfectly matched our ceiling's texture.  He is a true artist at plastering.  We couldn't be more pleased.  We are having him come back to fix a few cracks in our upstairs walls later this week.

Gordon came out to look at the job on the same day that I called.  He set up a date a few days later and came out and completed the work.  He was prompt and did an excellent job.  We found a few additional areas that needed repair during the job and he completed them without additional charge.

He showed up when he stated that he would both for the estimate and the project.  I watched him do part of the project and it showed that he was a skilled practitioner.  I was very pleased with the finished product.

I was so pleased that Gordon was able to come evaluate and repair the 2 problem areas the day after I called him. He was very polite and efficient, and the 2 repair jobs took just about an hour to complete. He did a great job, and I definitely recommend him and would call him again for any future needs from repair to remodeling!

Gordie came the same day I called to evaluate work needed and provided a fair quote.  We decided the work would be perfomed the following Monday at 7 am.  I had to go to work but my husband was home to let the workers in.  I was very disappointed to find out when I called my husband around 8:30 to find out how the work was going that Gordie did not show up.  He had not called me on my cell or my work number, both of which had been provided to him.  I called Gordie to find out what had happened.  He called me back quickly and apologized but did not give a reason as to why he did now show up.  He said he would come on Tuesday and I agreed as I did not want to call other plasterers to get quotes and Gordie had good reviews.  Gordie and another worker showed up on Tuesday.  Work was mostly perfomed by other worker all in the same day.  When I got home I was mostly happy with how the work was performed.  My bathroom ceiling was a mess and had large holes from a previous remodeling job.  The entire ceiling has been replastered and looked fantastic.  My kitchen ceiling was also repaired, lots of uneven surfaces and paint was peeling off.  It was very good except for one spot that still had a bulge but Gordie agreed to come back and he fixed that portion to my liking.  There was some plaster left in the grooves of my wood floors that Gordie's worker tried to clean up but was not able to clean it all.  My husband said they did not use runners and walked on the carpet and wood floors.  Also some large pieces of plaster were left on a cabinet that should have been cleaned up.
Overall I was very happy with the quality of the work performed but was very disappointed to have not received at least a phone call when Gordie did not show up the first day.  Also should have been more clean up done after the job was finished.

I've used Gordon Johnson twice with very good results, he responded the same day, gave a fair price and did a great job.  I originally used him to repair the stucco on a wall of our rental house and the repair was completed and matched perfectly. 
When it came time for the addition to our house he was an easy choice to handle the stucco, he showed up as scheduled, did the work himself and the results look great, thank you!

Came out and gave estimate the same day called. I felt so comfortable with him and and his estimate that I didn't even get another one.  Performed work the next day. Arrived at the time specified and the work was done to my satisfaction for what I think was a fair price.

Gordon C Johnson (RockfordPlastering.com) did a fantastic job!  I always was in direct contact with Gordon (Gordie) himself, and he also did the work himself.  He had others helping him, but he kept a very close eye on all of the work and made sure it was done to his meticulous standards.  I felt that I could communicate very well with him and that he understood my needs and really cared that it was done the way that please us the most.  Gordie is old-fashioned, does what he says he will, and stands by his work.  He didn't ask for a penny until the job was all done, inspected, and I was happy!||The work was done very quickly/efficiently, with no headaches or BS that I'm used to with other contractors.  I'm glad I used Angie's List and found Gordie and RockfordPlastering.com for this job!!||It looks so nice and was done at a good price that it's got me thinking of more work to have Gordie do!

I had water damage to the plaster in several rooms, numerous
nail pops and some repairs needed to the plaster in the garage.  I called and left a massage to Gordon. He
called right back and we set up and appointment for that Friday.  Gordon himself did the work. He was super
punctual and went straight to work. He worked quickly and did great job.   He?s prices were very reasonably and he even
recommended a painter for my remodeling job. He went above and beyond. I would
recommend him to anyone!

Punctual , responded quickly and service provided same day . I am satisfied with how my ceiling looks now .
